“Cannot recommend this place enough. Amongst other great experiences, today I had the pleasure of working with Derek and Joey. I needed to replace my car battery. My car is older so I was nervous that the alternator or the starter may need to be replaced. Joey ran all the tests on my car and took the time to explain the readings. Thankfully, it was just the battery. I was expecting to spend $150-200 however, when I went back inside, Derek asked me if I wanted a free, top of the line battery. I was shocked and it turns out that I was selected as the winner of a promotion! I got a battery with a value of $275. I cannot thank Derek and Joey enough. “Used to be able to get parts there as a private individual, Unfortunately my line of work changed and I was unaware of the changes until i called to get a part businesses/members only now, I used to always go here because the parts were quality and yet affordable and I had a car that shops couldn’t figure out the issue, so i was paying for mechanic shops to get the parts from here but not find the underlying cause of what kept making the part fail, but the shops told me “don’t look at it yourself its too dangerous, we’ll warranty it one more time but then you have to pay again” so it was funny while waiting in the lobby auto part international delivered the part to the mechanic but
after speaking to the driver back then and finding out i could buy from them directly, i did it myself and while doing my rear brakes found a front caliper seal/piston sticking so the excess It’s nobody here’s fault and auto part international is a great place to get parts and the Torrington location has the best most friendly and helpful staff, Thank you for the 2-3 years of parts, helpful service, friendliness and treating me like family, i learned how to do my own brakes where to get parts during the pandemic, y’all helped me out with keeping my first car on the road and i learned a lot on the journey!
If i could get the ability to shop for parts here again somehow without being a business or member i would be back in a heartbeat, This is not intended to be a negative review only kind words, I appreciate the opportunity to do business and hope to be able to shop again someday!”
“This past Saturday my second key fob was acting up, the battery was dying, the “1st one” had died a few months prior, and it’s most definitely a problem especially with today's cars.
I left work at 3, and headed straight to O’Reilly’s to get the batteries replaced, Dave who was working this afternoon was very helpful, and with the right tool got both fobs opened, and replaced the batteries quickly.
