I'm still in the shopping process, but Chris Keefe has gone way beyond his responsibilities to assist me. He has been patient, upfront and very informative. This is rare in this business so I am grateful for his professionalism. Whether I make a purchase or not, I must acknowledge Chris for how he has treated me.

I originally started this review last June 2022, which was when I was sexually harassed by the service manager Randy who worked there back then but has now since has been fired. Hmmm wonder why!?My car was being serviced after I gave him $1900 to fix my car. I drove off the lot to instantly have the car act up and drove right back into the lot. I was told by Randy he would need the car for a day or 2. I eventually picked up the car in hopes he wouldn't even be there but he was. He charged my card and walked me outside which is where he then proceeded to tell me he also did an unauthorized job which I'm not sure the car even needed. He then said bring the car back before emission so I can take care of it properly. I honestly just wanted to get the hell out of there and knew I wasn't going back so I didn't listen much. I told my family members and other friends what occurred and they were shocked but also understood why I just didn't want to bother going back or speaking up for myself. So because of that I didn't want to write a bad review and didn't feel it was fair to speak poorly about the entire company when there was only 1 person that was the issue. Well here we are now, 8/11/23, and I'm sticking to a 1 star review. Preferably zero stars!! And yes maybe I should have filed a sexual harassment claim right away, however until you have been in that situation and know how it feels, you have no right to judge. Back to today 8/11/23, after many calls and many conversations where I repeated myself over and over again. I finally spoke to John, the service manager, 5 times in recent weeks, 5 times. Yet when I made the last call to him he played dumb like he didn't remember me. And then when I brought my car down for my 2:30 appt today he had the audacity, along with the other John, to tell me it's going to cost me more money to fix a job Randy did without consent and I wouldn't have had this issue if he didn't do the unauthorized work in the first place. So now my car will not pass emissions. And John also stated on the phone at least twice that he would make things right and get this fixed so it passes emissions. That was the whole point of the calls and finally an appt. I stated on those calls and loudly, that I will not be paying extra money and he said we will take care of it and make things right. Word for word!!! And the other John who worked in service, how dare you say to me "what, you want free work"!!! Free work!! I've spent $4500 on that car and you give me that line?!? After I just explain to you my whole experience and the reason my car won't pass emissions is because of your company's poor work ethic. Let me tell you pal, I am a 40 yr old woman who sees right through you or your deceit. John the service manager, sir you are a liar sir and dishonest which makes you just as scummy as Randy. And same for the other john for even questioning my experience. So that being said I'll be sure to contact a dear friend of Ty's, the owner, who he's very close with, along with my sister who worked for Terryville Chevrolet. And for everyone else reading this I am nothing but a positive person and always want the best for everyone. I don't even post negative reviews. However this has changed everything for me. Terryville Chevrolet needs to be shut down!Take your business to MGB in Thomaston. They do far better work, are respectful men and do a quality job at a fair price. Or Blasius Chevrolet in Waterbury is fantastic. Don't waste a penny or a second of your time at Terryville Chevrolet! The BBB (better business bureau) just heard all about this and I will be contacting CTCHRO to file a sexual harassment claim.

I purchased two or three trucks from them brand new. First truck I had from them had Transmission problems with less then 20,000 miles on it it was under warranty and they said they fixed it got it back didn't even get out of the parking lot same problem. , second truck I bring it in for a service, I leave with less then 25-30 miles after leaving the dealer from being serviced check engine light came on. Told them about it they didn't have a loaner, and didn't really help. Highly disappointed after buying from them and being a loyal customer.. also got hung up on. I will never use them again.

I am very disgusted and felt very disrespected by the manager, Dan Perlini, for his obnoxious rude behavior. My spouse and I were looking to purchase a vehicle and we picked one out, had discussed purchase price and then I was questioning warranty. I mean why would anyone purchase an almost 30000 vehicle without having some sort of warranty. CT law regarding warranties is very clear to me. I went by example of what was shown and that's how I came up with the vehicle would still be covered. The salesman said he didn't believe so but he would check with the manager. Instead of the manager getting up and walking over to us to say whatever he needed to say, he started yelling at the salesman about the years and his interpretation of the law and contract. When I say yelling, I mean degradation was his goal at that point. I was mortified for both the salesman and my spouse and I. I have never experienced such disrespectful behavior especially when I'm purchasing something. I do not appreciate Dan Perlini's behavior and complete lack of respect and I am going to make sure I make it very well known of my displeasure in the way Dan acted, especially towards Harry who is an amazing very sweet salesman. I'm going to make sure I let whomever know exactly who Dan Perlini is. Terryville Chevrolet is doing itself a disservice having a disgusting non professional human being there. Customer service is supposed to be important, well that's what I believed to be the case!! Stay far away from Dan Perlini and Terryville Chevrolet!!!!OMG!!! I should have read these reviews before considering stepping foot in this place! This place is a joke!! They are VERY WELL KNOWN FOR THEIR OBNOXIOUS RUDE BEHAVIOR!!! I need to update the other reviews I did on the other sites regarding this place! I am so glad I didn't sign on the dotted line. No wonder their inventory is so small!!! They must be failing something aweful!! Whoever hired DAN PERLINI needs to be FIRED right along with Dan unless it was the owner who needs to remove his head from his a** and get a serious grip!!! On another note, it's been over 24 hours and they couldn't be bothered to even attempt to right their wrong!! Well it's no problem at all cause I'm going to do what's needed to alert others before they waste money here at TERRYVILLE CHEVROLET!

Today I received a call from Terryville Chevrolet owner Ty Dimeo who profusely apologized for what happened on behalf of himself and his managers. Dimeo made sure everything was immediately straightened out to my satisfaction. Happy to say Terryville Chevrolet is still a dealership that will treat you right!

worst dealership ever, spend your $$$ elsewhere. . Think they have a cash flow problem. Bought a Camaro in may 2021 took 4 months for them to register car, always excuse to why not done. Drove 4 hours 1 way to pick up car. Arrived to a Car with rear window falling out . Poor local guy got stuck with this , lemon law repair. Had car a few weeks and custom ordered a ford. Fast forward sold the Camaro and been waiting 2 months for our gap refund. Feel bad for Mitch he picks up phone and gets the end of it but no one ever calls back. . Finance manager worth less. Letters already for BBB , Chevy and attorney generals office To get our $ back. But we look like the meanies.

For many years I did business with terryville chevy, never had a problem. Always referred people to this place. I bought a new truck back in 2018. Come to find out the registration on my truck was wrong. I went down there to try to find out how we could fix this problem, the guy that I dealt with was the sales manager he was nice that day. He told me He will leave a message for the general manager to get back in touch with me. I talk to the man at DMV emission department and he told me the dealership has to fix the problem so I went back down to terryville chevy and the general manager was there and I was talking to him and then he told me with a tone in his voice. I was told that it was not his problem and that I was not welcome there anymore because I swore the first time I was down there so yes I got a little loud and I swore this time. He basically told me it was my problem get outta here or I'm gonna call the cops so i left. I know that it was wrong by swearing But when you're being accused of swearing the 1st time I was down there and you Are told that it wasn't there problem. Yes you're gonna get upset you're gonna get loud But still that is no way of treating a long time customer. PS The old management crew knew how to treat their customers

Never again. Never ever, ever again will my husband and I come here. PSA: the used Chevy trucks here are more expensive than the brand new one we bought at a different in state Chevy dealership. Not only that, but if you're looking at paperwork, get reasoning for all the itemized fees. ESP the "govt fee" on the paperwork. I'm very glad we shopped around or my husband and I would have been messed over by this dealership. Not only that, the salesperson called several times after my husband was very clear he bought a truck elsewhere. Stop calling, stop bothering us. Not interested, we spent our money elsewhere. When someone tells you they bought a vehicle somewhere else, stop pushing immediately.

Service starts with your service advisor and Gwen qas very welcoming and courteous. I only had an oil change and tire rotation along with a minor brake recall which required a quick program change. The work was performed very quickly and I could have easily just waited for the work to be completed. I certainly cannot complain about the cost which seemed to be inline with other dealers, if not, a little less. I have an extended warranty on my truck that was purchased through a 3rd party and have a couple of items that need to be fixed so we'll see how that goes. This will be a chance for them to turn me into a loyal customer.

I bring my car here because if there's any warrenty problems or recalls, everything is fixed for free- because I purchased my car from a chevy dealership over 50 miles away (don't ask). typically, I don't have too much of an issue, but I also haven't come here for more than an oil change in the past. today, though..... today. last week I brought my car in for an oil change and to check up what's going on with my front brakes/rotors because they're vibrating when stressed so o wanted it fixed. mind you, my car isn't anything really to boast about. common sedan- little box, but it works. so last week, I made an appointment for today to have them start working on my brake pads, rotors & water pump (cracked) and asked them to call me and give me a quote on a few other things (never got a call). I specifically asked for a loaner because I have a job that I am responsible for showing up at, and people depend on me to exist there. I show up today, and it doesn't seem like the guy who helped me even knew I was supposed to be here. He asked me "ok do you have a ride?" and I said "oh, no, actually I requested a loaner...." to which he replies "ah ok, gotta see what we got for ya". he then clicks about on his computer for some time, and starts asking people "have you seen mike?" apparently no one has seen mike because everyone is looking for mike but no one can find mike so mike is gone. unfortunately for me, mike also has ALL of the loner keys in his pocket. ALL OF THEM. allegedly, mike needed to move ALL of the loaner cars out of the way of "some steel work" and no one can find mike. the guy helping me told me "let me go in the lot and see if I can find mike". he comes back about 5 minutes later, no mike, and smells like cigarettes. I don't give a literal crap if people are smokers- that's fine. BUT I am your WAITING customer for a service I ASKED FOR IN ADVANCE and you think you should just be able to waltz outside, have a quick smoke break, and just mosey around? bruh. i was then told that Mike took THE loaner car and ALL the keys with him to wolcott, where he was dropping someone off "should be back in 10 minutes". it's now been over 30 minutes and I am seething. supposed to be at my job in less than an hour but alas- i'm waiting here for Mike to decide to show up. i'm literally going to buy a new car just so I never have to come back here for a problem ever again. ever.
