They deliver my oil when they say they're going to. I appreciate the honesty regarding credits to my account. I shop around for price and even if they were a little higher I would still use them. Safe to say they've earned my business ?

They serviced and cleaned my furnace 3 months ago and the furnace broke down. It needed a new nozzle, electrodes and cad cell, all things that should be looked at and replaced during a cleaning and service. I called asking for a complementary cleaning seeing how it wasn’t done correctly in the first place and they said no and wouldn’t take responsibility. Won’t be using them in the future.

Excellent service. Incredibly personable. Super fast response times when I had an issue with the furnace. I called for an oil delivery and they called ME back to tell me they didn't think I should be out of oil yet and they sent out a tech and got me up and running.

My wife and I have been using Higgins Oil to service our heating system and for fuel since we bought our house in 2020. The service has always been great. Last week we had a small incident and oil spilled in our basement. The owner, Bob, responded within ten minutes to start the cleanup process. They did a great job cleaning up the mess. Besides that, everyone in the company is very polite, educated in what they do and honestly a pleasure to deal with. I’m very thankful we have a company like this in our community!

I can't say enough good things about Higgins & Sons oil service. They treat you like family and what more can you say about a business than that. You're not a number to them but a valued customer and they treat you as such. From placing your order, to fuel delivery, to servicing your furnace, they are a pleasure to deal with. We always call around to check out oil prices before making an order and we ALWAYS wind up calling back to place one with Higgins. Every time, always cheaper than everywhere else. No issues in the last 5 years using them.

When they came to do a service they failed to do a complete cleaning. Then the come back to clean it properly. At this point they offered us 100 off an oil delivery. We paid in cash. Now there claiming we never paid them. We have no proof because we paid in cash. With problems all the way around, we will NEVER us Higgins and sons oil service again...

Been a customer for 4 years. Always quick to deliver.. When we initially moved in to our home, the home inspector had missed an issue with our Oil tank. Higgins helped us to fix the issue and reclaim expenses from the Home Inspection firm.

They are always there when you need them and their prices are reasonable. I've dealt with several different companies over the past 15 years and Higgins is one of the best I've dealt with in the Quiet Corner of Connecticut.

Amazing service. I recently bought a home in the Putnam area and had a nightmare of a boiler and oil tank situation. I thought my oil tank was leaking and they sent out a tech immediately at no cost to me and inspected it because they wanted to make sure my family was safe. When the noticed how bad the issues were they gave me an extremely fair quote on repairs. This is a company that cares about their customers and understand that not everyone has deep pockets.
