Mirabito has been such a rock for me since purchasing my home. Every time I’ve called and needed assistance regarding oil, my heating, any service/emergency calls they’ve been here for me like a family. Top tier customer service and always friendly - you won’t be disappointed in this choice for a fuel company!

I've only been a customer with Peterson oil (div of Mirabito) since July of 2020 and from the beginning I encountered issues with their services. For my first service call was 07/2020, a tech came out and told me that my boiler system just needed to be reset due to a "brownout." However, i received two bills for that same date of service. One was significantly larger than the other and that was due to the fact that they claimed to have serviced my boiler with new parts, which did not occur. Upon calling to inquire about these two bill for the same date of service, the receptionist claimed that two techs came out and that's why there was two bills. I simply told her that was not true... only one tech came out and simply reset our boiler; he was in and out in 15 min. She agreed to credit the larger bill which had the charges for parts back to my account. My next service call was 10/30/20, my radiators were not heating so a tech came out and purged water out of my pipes. I was charged higher than usual ($160.00) for this service due to it being "afterhours." Even though this charge difference was discussed over the phone when putting in my service call, i did not say anything and paid the bill.My most recent service call which was 2/22/21, my upstairs zone valve was not working correct and was constantly running heat. The tech came out and replaced the zone valve. During this process, the tech had a trail of water leading from my boiler room to the back door of my basement. My husband and I were very upset that he left our basement in such condition for us to clean and dry. My husband requested that i call and complain but i said let's just wait to get our bill. Well we received our bill a few days ago and was charged $268.5 for the service call and another $186 for parts. Overall, our total bill is $483.36. I called and spoke to Krissy on 3/13/21 to inquire about this bill and was told that service call fee was due to being "afterhours" again and the charge for the parts was basically how much it cost. I told her that the service fee was a lot higher than my last service bill on 10/30/20 that was also considered "afterhours," she then checked to see if their rates had went up but she indicated that they did not. So she wasn't sure why there was a difference in the service fee. Then she told me that she would connect me to service department, but after being on hold she came back and said that they were busy and someone would call me back. I said alright, thank you and waited for the call. During this time of waiting for a call back, i called other companies and found out the price of the part that was replaced should have only cost me $100; I was very disappointed in the fact of how much i was over charged for service and parts.Furthermore, I did not receive a call, but instead received an email from Brendan Ford (odie) (the operation manager) at 4:47pm on 3/13/21 indicating that he tried to call me and went on to explain my bill. At the end of the email, he stated that he would be available at the office till 5pm and back on Monday; basically leaving with a very short window to respond but i knew i was not going to hear back from him on 3/13/21. However, i emailed him back my concerns and complaints. It is 3/15/21, I still do not have a response from Brendan or the overall company. I strongly advise that if you need services for your heating/ air conditioning that you do not use this company. Their customer service is subpar and the billing is not accurate; the explanation is not satisfactory. Please chose wisely regarding your services; otherwise, it can cost you your system as well as bank account.

We had another HVAC company (who claimed to be certified to work on our Buderus system, but was not) tune-up our boiler. Big mistake. Our boiler began to run like crap. Then they sold us a bunch of un-necessary parts and eventually told us we needed a new burner. There was NO way I was spending another penny with those hacks. But, it was getting cold and I needed someone to help me out. I called one local company and was told "this is the busy season and we're only taking care of existing customers." One call to Don at Mirabito and I immediately felt like I was talking with an old friend. At no point did we feel like we were being pushed or sold. Don seemed genuinely concerned about our situation. Then went above and beyond to get a team of techs who really knew their stuff to come right out and get us back up and running. They were fast, clean and professional. Everyone we dealt with there treated us like we'd been customers forever. Which we now will be! What a difference a few friendly, knowledgeable people can make. Thanks again guys! Great company! Great employees! Reasonable prices! What more can you ask for?

The customer service at Mirabito is top notch. I called to have our air conditioner serviced last week, but upon hearing there was a wait to speak with a customer service, I hung up, expecting to try again later. But, shortly thereafter, Rosella called! She was really helpful and got us an appointment right away. The tech, Dan, was very polite and professional, and we were all set. This has been a pattern, I've noticed: we ask for an oil contract, it arrives the next day. They run a tight ship!

35 year customer and I feel ripped off... delivery today $2.34/gallon and that is with oil prices deflated... other local companies are well below at $1.65..,,This is how you treat your customers? Had been a great local company in the past, until some group from New York bought them a few years back. Time for a change, and I'll drag the other three members of my family along...to bad. When I called they basically said tough and couldn't care less...

We have been a customer for 25 years as we desire a full service company. Over 25 years there have been some quiches but in each case the company responded in a timely responsible manner. Issues happen in life it is how a company responses that is important.

Awful customer service. If I could give less than 1 star I would.
