I had to register a car recently and did not have time to wait for a DMV appointment to open. I called around and Moore Brothers basically said come on down and so I went. Matt was very helpful making sure I signed everything correctly. The DMV had given me the impression that the dealers would charge $25. The bill was higher. Mike did a great job breaking down all the numbers that the bill was composed of, most of which was basically the DMV making me pay the registration fees all over again which Moore Brothers couldn't do anything about. The rest was the $25 the DMV mentioned as well as other expenses outside the scope incurred by the dealership for doing the paperwork. Once Mike broke it down, what was initially an unexpected number now made sense, and I appreciate their patience explaining the bill. 5 of 5 recommended!

Boy do I have a 5 star review for you. First, Mike came in on his day off to sell my partner and I our new 2001 chevy dually truck. As he was telling us about the vehicle, he spoke with a lot of pride about the amount of work that he and the team had put into it. He had a record of all the work they had done, as well as receipts from all the parts they had bought, and he went through them one by one with us as we asked questions. We drove home to Vermont with no issues and used the truck to pull our 15,000 pound house through basically nothing but mud on our property, and we still had no issue. I went to the Vermont DMV to register it, and they gave me some trouble because Vermont laws are different than Connecticut and I didn't have all the paperwork they wanted. I called Moore Bros and spoke with Linda Moore, who knew exactly what she was doing and had someone next to her call the Vermont DMV while I was still on the line with her. She gave them a piece of her mind and I was able to go back to the DMV that same day and register the vehicle because of who she had spoken with. Talk about customer service! Then I went to have the truck inspected. Vermont inspections are notoriously pretty strict, so I was worried just because of the age of the vehicle. Not only did the truck pass, but the mechanic went out of his way to come into the customer area and ask me (totally unprompted!) who had worked on the truck because he could tell so much time and money had gone into it. As a first time used car buyer who was very nervous about the whole process, Moore Bros entirely exceeded my expectations in every possible way. Highly recommend!

Forget the DMV - this is the easiest place to register a used car! Was in and out in less than 20 minutes. They take checks for the sales tax but you will need cash for registering the car plus their fee (ATM on-site).
