Zah’s Bait & Tackle is such a great spot for all of your fishing needs! It’s conveniently located by the CT river in Portland by the marinas so you can just grab and go! My husband’s cousin and our friend go to see Zach every time they head out and won’t go anywhere else. Zach is always a pleasure to work with!

Great store-bought shiners and worms kept the shiners overnight We used an air bubbler and changed out some of the water with Spring water..Used them the next day and did not lose any. super helpful staff and good prices. Purchased a lure also.

By shopping here and listening to the staff AND being patient i had a day of fishing that was once in a lifetime.. i caught over 20 stripers in 2 hours off reccomended bait w 2 keepers. Sore af but dam yesterday was like shooting a 24 pt buck w a bow
