Recently, Dr. Grace Woodrell has taken ownership of the hospital and she has been incredible. She is knowledgeable, easy to talk to, and takes the time to answer my *many* questions.

Every single one of the vet techs are truly amazing and our animals are always so happy to see them. Our dog actually looks forward to his vet visits!

Marianne & Mary at the front desk are also very kind & welcoming. They return calls & emails promptly and always get us a same day appointment when our pets are having issues.

As an anxious pet parent, I feel my animals are in good hands when they come in for an appointment or procedure because all the staff are so reassuring.

“I always recommend this vet to all my pet parents as a pet sitter. Super sweet staff and perfect set up. They love to teach and chat!

We visited them this morning for my Roobi dog's annual check up and everything was calm and smooth as it always is. I love how they treat my pittie mix in every way. She is very anxious and is wildly more comfortable here than our previous vet experience, I almost don't even recognize her compared. I still hear her grumbling and mumbling when they take her to the back for tests, but she SCREAMS at other vets. Bone chilling stuff, but not at Spring Glen. They just have a way with space as much as touch. Our last vet was full of echos and metal, there was never enough traznadone, but this one is wooden and still and kind and slower, I wonder if she actually needs trazn (probably tbh so I just give it as usual). For example, while in a med exam room, I cannot hear the other rooms.. Im sure the animals can, but not in an overwhelming way that echos and shakes them.

Additionally, Ive recently found a stray kitty on my day to day that loves being living with Roobi and I. Kayla kindly talked me through what it looks like if a cat is in a heat, how to know if she is in trouble, tried to help me guess her age, and was very transparent about the price of keeping her in my household under their care!! She put my mind at ease to all of the random feedback I had been receiving. I have had Hobbit for about 6 months, without any response to lost pet ads, and was feeling worried about what to prioritize.

Getting this information about my found kitten Hobbit following a great check up with Roobi... after (shout out) DR MAGS AND HIS TEAM ❤️❤️❤️ pristinely removed my dog's MCT tumor slightly over a year ago (a tear currently is rolling down my right cheek)!!!!! ..was truly a wonderful morning!! I was even a little nervous to go, in the event there were more lumpis dumpis!!! ? None to be seen, and everything checked out. We are still watching as we do, but what a fantastic day at Spring Glen Vet!!

The office staff was very pleasant and friendly. Dr. Ira Stone was extremely pleasant, patient and didn’t make me feel I was over worrying. He paid attention to me, keeping eye contact and explained everything thoroughly. He didn’t make me feel rushed or that I was taking too much of his time. Highly recommend!”

“If you are looking for excellent veterinary care and a very welcoming environment, this is the place! Everyone is honestly the best here. We've established a relationship with Seymour Veterinary Hospital for our babies, two cats, Andromeda and Nova and our dog Peyton. Both Dr. Gumprecht and Dr. Budris have helped with exams and excellent gentle care for our fur babies. They've fit us in extremely quick with critical appointments a few times already. Everyone is very well-spoken and clear with their advice and explanations. I've even received multiple calls to check in on our cats, who are currently on antibiotics. Even our dog, who was a rescue and is extremely anxious, did terrific with everyone in the back! Once we first got into the lobby, I knew this was where we'll be staying. I could not recommend them enough.”

“I have nothing but wonderful things to say about Stone. The staff and Doctors were nothing but caring and gentle with my Ella. She was a large and very nervous dog that would try to bite, however they handled her so well. The last vet I was at made me feel bad that she was like that. Not at Stone. They accepted her for the way she was. When it was time for her to cross the Rainbow Bridge the Techs and Dr AJ were so patient and gentle with her. Yesterday I received a card, handwritten, from Dr AJ sending her condolences and a little paw with seeds to plant to remember Ella. They also donated money to a charity in Ella's name. Beautiful. The business they used for cremation was wonderful as well. They sent her remains home in box I picked & it was put in a velvet bag along with an impression of Ella's paw and a Rainbow Bridge token. I am reading these other reviews and I am surprised at the accusations of price gouging. I never felt I was being charged too much. We have had dogs for almost 30 years and where I was taking them in the past was so much more expensive and the care for Ella deteriorated as she was difficult to handle. I hope Stone thrives and is around for a long time. Also I don't know why this is saying I'm from California! I live in Connecticut!!!”

“Dr. Dolcort is wonderful. Does not push for anything other than what is necessary. Is always so nice to my dogs and my littlest dog that I had to bring in yesterday is always a nervous wreck, and was surprisingly calm! This makes me feel so relieved that I have someone and somewhere I can trust bringing my dogs to. Also, when I went to pay, it was completely fair, not overcharged one bit! Highly recommend.”

“They do care for animals truly, great doctors with patience, very clean interior, modern and luxury decoration, plenty of parking spots and very easy to park, to enter the parking garage as it is on a main road and only business at parking lot. Always smells good, prescriptions on time in order and doctors are easy to reach. When we have a question they talk to doctors and call back the same day. I live in Easton and didn't change my vet after moving here. It is worth the drive and as they are open later than all other vets, it is very convenient. More expensive than many offices but I rather be with a practice that truly cares for dogs, accommodate well and always accessible.”
