I called specifically to inquire about an Amazon return because they are classified as an "access point" and my return instructions said UPS store. Without me finishing my question, was told that as long as the item was in the original packaging and I had a return code, it would be accepted, but if not, I could go a short way down the road to express UPS returns. The clerk at CVS said nope we cannot accept this as they are not able to scan the QR code and advised me to go to express UPS returns a short way down the road where I was advised that....nope...I was given incorrect info because " THEY DON'T KNOW US

They have bad customer service they are on there phone showing pictures of there kids when I asked for assistance getting my prescription they told me to wait till they were done showing it to each other and if I didn't like it go somewhere else so I waited then they told me they didn't think I should of interrupted there conversation and refuse to give me my order and to have my scripts sent somewhere else

I'd put no stars but that's not an option. I called about a specific medicine, they said they would have ot in 3 days. 8 days later, I still do not have my meds, and when I called to get a status update they told me I couldn't even get that brand at the pharmacy. So now I have been without my meds for a week, they lied said it would 3 days took no days, they will not even carry it, it is not even a controlled pill or any narcotic of any kind, why lie to me to steal the buisness from another pharmacy that you can't fill?

I agree with all the negative reviews others have put on here for this location, unprofessional staff, rude, mean & the assistant store manager Kristian is absolutely awful at his job !! He should not be in management nor should he be even in retail maybe a cubicle by himself as his rude attitude towards customers is absolutely trash. He screamed at me multiple times where my coupon was that I used and I answered multiple times “ in the light up receptacle where it belongs” he just kept going at me even though I pointed where I put it. I go in today maybe a week after that incident happened and it’s Halloween night , no welcome in no customer service atmosphere NOTHING… instead he was parading around in a Peter Pan costume taking pictures with 2 girls …. Not focused on his actual job just a photo op for him. Super unprofessional and he needs to actually be reprimanded.

Switched from Brooklyn to Putnam due to moving. What a mistake! I would rather drive a little out of my way than wait 2 to 3 days for a prescription to be filled! Won't be using this CVS any longer.

My prescription was for a quantity of 90 pills, the bottle was half for so my wife and I counted them, there were only 60 pills. I contacted the pharmacy and now its going to be a battle to get the other 30 pills that I require for my prescription, they don't care, they say they filled the prescription for 90. The pharmacist who messed up my prescriprion was rude about his mistake.

The phone tree is annoying, but it is understandable as to why it is needed.The multiple times I have had exchanges with folks at the pharmacy, they have been great. They have to deal with a high volume of calls and individuals with varying levels of health literacy. They do a great job.

Extremely rude in the pharmacy. I never leave reviews, but wow. Wasn't surprised to come to yelp and find I wasn't the only one feeling this way.

This Cvs pharmacy is terrible. I usually get my prescription quickly but this pharmacy must have ignored it and then quickly filled it once I called hours later. Coincidentally “oh it’ll be ready in 15 minutes” then was ready an additional hour later. Then I needed a second dose of my prescription, as advised by my prescriber, and they didn’t want to refill my prescription even though I have a refill because it was too soon. Well to clarify an employee originally answered and she said hold on and explained the situation to her manager Dereck.. he then picked up and flat out was like “no” “you need to contact your doctor to figure out how to take your prescription” …. No Dereck. I know exactly how to as I’ve been talking to my doctors daily and spoke to her right before speaking to you.. actually I was on hold for over 15 minutes before even getting through to this pharmacy. Now my email says, “We've received your order and will begin processing it shortly. If we run into any issues while filling your prescriptions, we will contact you or your prescriber.” So why is it when I asked dereck he said he’s not going to contact my prescriber when it’s advertised that he would? It wasn’t until I got mad and brought this up that he was like okay, I can try. No, just pure laziness. I also asked him why the employee would instantly ask him if there wasn’t something he can easily do? That left him speechless. I took care of it all and my doctor will be reaching out. What a ridiculous pharmacy. And on top of it Derek offered that if I want my prescription I can pay full price without my insurance to get it today. A loop hole that would go against what he’s saying the doctor prescribed. Or Derek just do your job, contact the provider and ensure I get my needed prescription today like I’m supposed to without any issues.

The lady at the window is one of the meanest, rudest, and terrible human beings on the planet. I just got out of the hospital with a broken leg and badly need my pain meds, in agony, while she gives us the run around, I hand her my in’s card, and she couldn’t figure it out, so I said fine I’ll pay out of pocket…magically they are all out of painkillers and she asked me to leave and come back Monday!!! 3 days from now! Worst people I’ve ever dealt with, no sympathy for anyone but themselves and their phones. They all need to be fired.

This pharmacy is very poor in customer service. There is awlays an issue every time I go.I have experienced prescriptions not ready hours after they said they would be, rude workers in the drive-thru....and btw expect to wait at least 20 mins there....and once I was waiting in line and they closed without notice....definitely changing...a better place to get your rx!!

This Putnam CVS Pharmacy is the worst. I'm so done and switching pharmacies. Today, I selected same day delivery. The order was never picked up and is "bagged up for the third party", the pharmacy staff indicated that they could not sell me the medications now that it is bagged up for delivery and that I have to contact this mystery third party which was supposed to be on the website. I am not able to find any information for this third party and need my medication or I will become very sick. The staff at Putnam CVS pharmacy were completely useless and couldn't provide me any information on how to contact this third party delivery service and now I'm stuck unable to get my medication. After an hour on the website I was able to finally find that I "need to contact the Putnam CVS pharmacy" with any issue with the delivery as they are "best able to help". Absolute joke, they are and have been such a pain in the butt. Done. Switching to somewhere else asap.
