Stayed here recently, and this place was a letdown from start to finish. First off, the blinds didn’t work at all they offered zero privacy. There were even screws in the window frame, probably so you could hang something up to block the view since the blinds were basically useless.
The couch had some weird, oily stains on it, making it pretty uninviting. I can’t imagine anyone wanting to sit on it in that condition. Plus, the walls had unfinished patches, with some exposed wiring that just didn’t feel safe.
In the shower, there was even a dirty footprint on the wall. Not exactly what you expect to see in a supposedly clean room. The door latch was also broken, adding to the list of issues that just made the room feel neglected.
And to top it off, when I asked for a simple one hour extension on checkout, the front desk was rude and refused, which felt unnecessary. For a place that doesn’t seem to care much about upkeep or cleanliness, a little flexibility with guests wouldn’t hurt.
If you’re looking for a comfortable stay without all these issues, I’d suggest finding somewhere else.

Only stay here bc it is convenient when we are seeing shows in Ridgefield. Not friendly or polite, not as clean as it should be, and water in the showers is typically ice cold.
Rooms: Smallish and decent. Not as clean or as comfortable as you would want.
Nearby activities: Convenient to Ridgefield Playhouse for great shows and to The Black Cat Cafe for great food.
Noteworthy details: Not polite service. Act like they are annoyed you are paying to stay there.

We found the hotel quite ok. You could do it well
sleep inside and relax. What was annoying was chewing gum on the floor, strange stains in the corners, and the bathroom door was very difficult to close. The breakfast was pretty subpar for our German standards but acceptable. The hotel staff was very nice and helpful.

I'm surprised this place is still in business, to be honest. The rooms are incredibly dirty and have a really unpleasant smell. The bed I slept in was in such bad shape, it felt like the front was sinking in. The carpet was soaked and extremely filthy, like disgustingly filthy. I didn't voice my concerns because I was utterly exhausted from traveling and dealing with the disruptions caused by the storm. I stayed there for two days. I slept fully clothed both nights, even keeping my jeans on with a belt. I checked for a hidden camera in my room and it showed 74% accuracy. Hotel feels very creepy. I also placed a doorstop ( door ) under my door handle each night. I felt incredibly unsafe the whole time. I just didn't have the energy or time to complain, as I had a family member on FaceTime with me throughout both nights till morning.

If I hadn’t been totally desperate to get off the road I would have RUN! The room stunk like mildew and urine. The walls were disgustingly filthy. The beds looked clean so we got in with our clothes on and cleared out at 5 the next morning trying not to touch anything. So gross.

We set our reservation because the booking site said the room slept 6. It did not have enough beds/pull-out for 6. We made due with the circumstances.
The staff apologized, but there was nothing she could do.
We picked from several good breakfast spots to reward the kids.

Disappointed so gross and they even charged me $30 for a dog. This room was not fit for a human let alone a dog. Really gross stains on walls, furniture, sheets and floor. Mildew mold in bathroom, some type of liquid stains on the tv stand thing, no deadbolt to make sure door is locked. Bathroom door does not close. Smelled of cigarette smoke. Just gross. I am very surprise that Wyndham even put their name on this business they should be embarrassed of this establishment. Let’s talk about the broke down vehicles we couldn’t even park next to our room. Do t waists your time staying here.
Noteworthy details: Horrible gross disgusting don’t stay here

The pictures are a lie on their website. They did throw new furniture in there but its all trashed now. Everything else is falling apart. The meth heads put tissue in the peephole, there was old frozen food stuck in the old fridge, bathroom ceiling falling apart.

There was no hot water, and human secretion stained in my sheets. The lady at the front was really nice, and the location is convenient. But avoid at all costs. The price isn't worth it.
