I've seen some complaints about pricing but in my experience they've always been around the same price of what you can find on ebay and stuff, and with guaranteed quality that doesn't disappoint. They offer a variety of services that I learn more about every time I come in, and even if it's not a service they offer they are very knowledgeable and will happily point you in the right direction.”

“Great little toy shop in Bethel! Nice selection of board games, Brio toys, some Playmobil, baby toys, and unusual things for older kids-- like fairy dollhouses. They go beyond the brands you find at Target to offer something different, and everything is high quality. And the friendly little pooch in the front window really gives this place a special vibe. Will definitely be returning even though it's a bit of a drive for us. It's worth the trip. Highly recommend!”

“This store is so wonderful, full of old-school charm! The selection is delightful, but more so, the employees are so kind, patient and helpful. My son went to pick out his 7 year old birthday present and they gave him a Pokemon card and free batteries to go along with his toy (it was his actual birthday! :). Even though the prices might be a tad higher than online, it is worth every penny. Nothing like having the personalized experience. Kudos to the employees and owners of the Toy Chest! We hope it stays in business for many years to come!”

“Although it’s a kiosk, the experience was still just as fun as in the regular store. I came in hoping to get the new bat and they didn’t have it but the girl that works there gave me the option to buy it online through them to have it shipped to my house ( I wanted it unstuffed) and could come back in to get it stuffed. It came in when they said it would and I had a great experience with the employees they were sweethearts and I’m 23 but I felt like a little kid again. So grateful for them and happy I was able to get the bat with them before it sold out. Your experience is always what you make it! An employee also recommend that I get the jack-o’-lantern outfit. 10/10 so cute lol!”

“We use to love melissa and doug toy's but it seems alot of the toys are painted with toxic paints not to mention the toys can break so easy !! Honestly i find the Wooden Toy's at (MASTER MIND TOY) store are much better and amazing customer service !! Melissa and Doug did great making toys when they had children but that was 30 somthing years ago ?Little Reminder for parents Melissa and Doug SOLD their toy company so you are no longer supprting their brand why not switch to a better toy company ?”
