I had a great experience with Mary. I responded to a different posting and she contacted me to say that they were looking for someone with a more specific background, but then was able to help me connect with another company. She was very responsive in helping me through the process and making sure I was prepared. Thank you to Mary and her team!

Mary Bolger LLC has built a strong network spanning many years to connect EA job seekers to reputable qualified employers. She thoroughly vets potential employers to ensure the best fit. No duds! As a result, no wasting of time on either side. MB was on the money about the company that hired me. It’s an excellent fit with opportunity for growth.

Over the years I have referred countless friends and business associates to Mary Bolger LLC for assistance ranging from finding a new position to dramatic career change. Mary has been unfailingly empathetic and professional with every one. And in the process, has helped many of my referrals to discover and capture excellent and worthwhile opportunities. I continue to recommend Mary Bolger and her firm highly!

Mary Bolger placed me at a Fortune 500 Greenwich firm at a time when I was making a career change. She shepherded me through the process, polishing my resume and advising me on how to present my skills to best advantage. She truly partnered with me from start to finish, and even followed up to be sure I was happy in my new position. I would recommend her (and do!) in a heartbeat and know if I need her help again, she and her excellent network will be there for me.

Highly skilled professionals who are willing to take that extra step to make things happen. After my initial meeting with Ms. Bolger, she was able to schedule me an interview with the employer within 24 hours. A remarkable outcome indeed especially in comparison with my own poor services of recruitment experience. Great team overall!!

As an employer I have used Mary Bolger for administrative employee candidates and had great success. I'm happy some of them became high -potential employees and have been promoted into leadership positions. I'm very happy to have the opportunity to strongly recommend Mary Bolger .

Mary placed me at a Fortune 500 Greenwich firm years ago when I was changing careers. That opportunity led me on a professional journey of both skill and contact development as I've steadily progressed. That original placement took a while since the corporate wheels turned slowly, but Mary's encouragement, professionalism and high-level relationships were invaluable to helping me land the position. The fact that Mary has been a leader in this competitive business for 40 years says it all. Highly recommend Mary Bolger Personnel.

Over several years I have applied to positions that I would be a shoe in for and Mary never responded. One day I found her on a neighborhood app and asked her if she would look over my resume and let me know what I could do to improve it since clearly she never responded before. After waiting, no response from her. She took more effort complaining about her life on an app to anyone who would listen. She slid in my DM's to say she didn't conduct business on the app platform. In my opinion she doesn't conduct business off of it either, so get yourself a real recruiter because that sea is plentiful. I get the feeling she goes after white males, because that's what works for her and the firms she represents. If you are a qualified woman try another larger agency. Mary is not dedicated to her work and it shows by the level of service or lack there of.

Mary Bolger seems to give the same line of phoniness talk to most of us women over age 28 and who don't live in Greenwich. She raved about my experience, took my resume, told me she had clients where I would be a good fit, and applied to her job postings where my experience was a great match, and I never heard from her again. I'm confident and intelligent, didn't give her unprofessional work ethic, and practices a second thought. I told myself a trip to her office was a waste of my valuable time and a lesson learned to stay away from women who look down on other women.

I was recently asked to give some recommendations on employment agencies in/around Greenwich from a friend. I haven't worked in Greenwich for a few years now, so I didn't want to go on memory as things do change, so I looked at reviews for the ones I had dealt with at one time or another and was not surprised to see these kinds of reviews for Mary Bolger. I guess some things never change. I worked for over 20 years for a prominent worldwide tycoon. There was not a challenge or project he threw my way that I didn't master. When he died, I moved back to the area and figured my track record of being with the same entity for over 20 years along with all I had accomplished would welcome me into any employment agency's door. My original mistake was that the first place I went was to Mary Bolger on Greenwich Avenue. I honestly believe that the minute I walked in she was already done with me - maybe I'm too old, not a runway model - I don't know but I was in and out of there so fast (on her side not mine) and never heard from her again. I felt so defeated it really took a toll on my self-confidence. Thank God, the next person I went to saw in me a real asset and soon I was working for a family in Greenwich which was supposed to be a transition period but turned into 8 years. My employer's friends began asking if they could borrow me to help train their household staff and unknown to me they nicknamed me "The Fixer"....ultimately I landed the job of my dreams where I have been these last few years - thanks to an amazing recruiter who had been searching for a Personal Assistant for her client for two years! When I went for the interview I think we all knew what a perfect match we all were for each other and I couldn't be happier. They thank me every day, as does the poor person who was trying to retire for those two years they were searching for her replacement. So I say to agencies like Mary Bolger's -- you're missing out on some of the best talent out there, but no worries someone else will always be there to give us a shot.

I do not recommend using this staffing agency. She and I connected on LinkedIn, due to mutual connections, and in response to a job I applied for via her agency. She asked me to forward her my resume, which I did, and she did not respond. I followed up a week later and she asked me to re-send my resume to her once more, which I did, and she failed to respond to that as well. I messaged her on LinkedIn to inquire as to whether she had received the resume and she never responded. As other reviewers have stated, she is entirely unresponsive, lacking professionalism, and you would be better off looking elsewhere.

Stuck up, elitist snobs. I called one time almost twenty years ago, when I was almost 18, I told them what I was looking for, the lady I spoke to said "we deal with higher level stuff", I couldn't believe it. My mom even got on the phone and said "you mean to tell me you don't get any file clerk jobs?!, I bet if he was a foreigner, no problem, you're not even from this country", the lady then said "I worked very hard to get this position", my mom reolire "I doubt that, I doubt that very much". Stay away from these people, avoid like the plauge.

My LinkedIn responses to job ads posted by her as well as emails sent with my resume (as instructed in job ads) in regards to jobs are never responded to. Ever. She wrote to me once offering to help me and I’ve never heard since. I’ve responded to over 5 jobs, sent over 5 emails and messages and followed up to every form of communication.. no response.
