“I have beem going to A&J carwash for a while now. I discovered it while my mom was in hospice care last winter at Uconn. I myself, take very good care of my vehicle. I
really hated going through tunnel washes in the winter because they are usually dirty and scratch you paint. While i was going through a very difficult time, i noticed it was a HAND carwash. I needed a feel good moment and decided to stop in for a wash. Not only was i greeted with a smile and kindess, they exceeded my expectations. I don't drive anything fancy at all but they took care of my vehicle as if it was one of the high end cars they so often do. I have been going back again and again, since.Their mitts and microfiber cloths are always clean and fresh, unlike a lot of other places. They go above and beyond with the detail and they don't rush. I will forever go here and i can never thank or appreciate the owner and his crew enough.”

“New owners of Shiny Bright as of July 2023 are welcoming and friendly. They take an old school approach and hand wash the cars wheels and hotspots first with a soft brush. They spent 13 minutes just doing the hand wash! Then onto a conveyer belt for a short ride to rinse and shine. I paid for the mid level wash, but as a new customer they gave me a free upgrade to the premium wash. At the end of line were the 2 gentlemen, David and TJ, who towel dried my SUV. Very nice to talk to while waiting for them to finish. There are free vacuums available also for patrons. My car came out beautiful and streak free, plus the grungy wheels were perfectly shiny when complete. My only critique is that I didn't anticipate it taking 20 minutes to complete the wash, so set aside time for it. Also, there are lots of extra cars sitting on the lot waiting to be detailed, so it looks cluttered. Overall, a great car wash experience at the new Shiny Bright.”

“I am disabled and cannot vacuum a car. I come from a place where full service car washed were all over. But this is what Google Maps sent me to when I asked for a full service car wash. The woman called me out of the car, then called the manager of the place.And he took care of everything... Himself. He vacuumed the windows, wipe down everything.I mean he was great. They were over the edge in their kindness, and I was so appreciative. I'd recommend this place to anyone!!!?”

“I absolutely love this car wash. One of the best around. I like to run to this one when I’m in the area. Only critique is, when you’re in a hurry and just want to pay quickly and use touchscreen, the staff (who are all very friendly) routinely run out to help you with your transaction and try to sell you on a package. Or a monthly membership. I understand the potential benefits, but when you say that you do not want it and they just keep asking especially, when you’re in a hurry it can be a little frustrating.”
