Couldn't enjoy looking around at all because the speaker was WAY TOO LOUD, so loud that I needed to leave. Right before I left they finally decided to turn the volume down and it was still unnecessarily loud. I'm autistic so I have serious sensory sensitivities, but even the non-autistic person I was with also said it was way too loud. Just because there's one little Amazon Alexa on one end of the store doesn't mean it should be loud enough to hear everywhere in such a huge place. Being within a 30 foot radius of it was and painful and nearly meltdown inducing.
The layout is chaotic, even for an antiques shop.
The prices seemed arbitrary and shockingly high. You can easily find tems in similar condition at other antique shops and flea markets for a fraction of the price. There's no good reason to come back here.
Editing due to the response: Again, I'm autistic (that means I'm *disabled*). I'm not going to have the social capacity to approach a stranger to request volume changes on a good day, much less when already critically over-stimulated. Nobody should have to ask this in the first place; it's your job as a business owner to make your store a welcoming and comfortable environment for the people who enter. As for the passive-aggressive non-apology "sorry we hear all the time how adorable and inexpensive we are," those kinds of unprofessional replies say a lot. You could've left that part out and remained neutral but had to put a dig in because you can't take criticism. Not a good look.

Prices on many items are too high. Many dings and Knicks. It was a fun place to look around

Nice selection of antiques and unique items. Toys to old tins, silver dollars to horse saddles. Something for everyone. Nice scenic drive coming from New Haven, Hartford, or New London with great selection of dining options near by. Make a day out of it and enjoy yourself!

The people here are very rude. Everything is covered in layers of dust and there’s trash everywhere. There are better local flea markets, don’t waste your time.
