I had two new tanks fitted on Friday, April 14. I was the first call of the day and was told on the phone the new tanks would not take long to fit. However, the engineers doing the job realized there were several leaks and some other things wrong. They stayed until the job was complete, way longer than anticipated. Both engineers were polite, helpful and explained everything to me. I live alone and have little knowledge of anything propane, so this was really considerate! One engineer was Stephen, I am unsure of the other engineers name? I would highly recommend this company.

Such a great company. We have Dealt with them for years for oil, furnace cleaning and central air cleaning can’t say enough good things about them friendly knowledgeable A++++++++++

Wife ordered propane the week prior. She monitored the tanks and as they got low, she called again out of concern to get an estimated date delivery would occur. After three more phone calls, nothing but excuses of driver shortage were given. We live three minutes away from Spicer. The tanks ran out after extreme cold and a winter storm. Wife then called again and requested emergency service and was even willing to pay the extra despite Spicer’s failure. The sales associate stated he coupe en do an emergency delivery. Second time this has happened in two years. Absolutely horrible services.

This is one of the worst and least responsive companies I have ever dealt with. I’ve now been trying for two-and-a-half weeks with four phone calls (five if you count the voice mail I was finally put into) with absolutely no response. I called to ask how a product that has had a number of problems over five years and has hardly been used could need to have such an expensive part replaced. I also waited weeks without any contact whatsoever waiting for this part to come in. This company could care less if you have any kind of problem. DO NOT EVER get involved with them.

We used Spicer to do a very large install on our house in CT. Cory and Scott were super helpful. The house is kinda wacky, so the install needed a lot of thought. They visited the site multiple times to figure out the best method. Then came time to install and the team was super professional and got everything done in a timely manner. The gang was clean and happy to help and answer my annoying homeowner questions. I'd def recommend working with Scott and Cory!

Absolutely, worst service of delivery about every 2nd or 3rd year for oil & propane gas. The office I have to negotiate with to get reasonable price for oil or gas. They delivered propane to my tank by accident. After which discovered I was paying $0.75 a gallon more than my next door neighbor for propane! She office person said price based on volume bought but he has smaller storage system just like me! Thus, I don't believe! I was upset about this so received a letter no charge for propane. The Spicer/Advance company almost ran me dry on oil too!!. My wife & I been loyal to Spicer/Advance for over 9 years! We get no break on oil or propane. We had received no charge on the propane gas because was not order by us & came very close running out heating oil. They called apologized for no oil delivery on regular monthly cycles & say it's computers fault. This not 1st time these happened. I have good customer service from polite and service from offices people.

Spicer Gas installed a gas insert in our 19th century tile fireplace about 12 years ago. It has worked great since. They perform an annual cleaning and maintenance on it. Dale was just here and was friendly and professional. Word of advise - book 3 weeks in advance for service. We have natural gas from the city, so I cannot comment on propane delivery. Recommend without reservation.

Absolutely the worse customer service. I called to explain that I was over charged a delivery and could not get a sentence out without being cut off by a woman named "Cara". I could not even explain my reason for calling. She was completely unprofessional. I have learned through my experience that they will not honor their own service contract pricing. Save yourself the headache and find another company to use.

I just purchased a home and was under the impression that the propane tanks came with the estate. A few months later, someone trespassed on my property and stuck a sticker on my tank. A few more months pass and now I recieve a letter in the mail. After speaking with a rude lady in the billing department and her supervisor the amount of BS I've gone thru just to straighten out tank ownership and not be charged for something I thought I owned was ridiculous! After everything, I will never do business with this company.
