Beautiful garden store with a bunch of floral and garden accessory options. We stopped in for mums and decorative pumpkins and were really surprised by the assortment and great pricing. Will certainly come back when in the area! Highly recommend stopping in.

Brunette’s has a lovely plant selection. Grasses, tropicals, trees, shrubs, perennials and annuals. Or so we thought, on July 24th we bought a string of pearls plant from there for our leopard gecko. By Aug 14th it was dead. I contacted Burnette’s in hopes of a replacement but they notified me that that don’t offer a warranty for this plant. That being said we will no longer be shopping at Burnette’s, instead we go out of our way to buy from more reputable suppliers in the future. Below is a pic of our leopard enjoying the string of pearls and another of it dead.

I was hoping to post a positive review however I have not had a positive experience. Many years ago Burnetts came out to design my full yard of my old house and design was amazing. Last year I was excited to have them come out to design my new home's full yard. I called to schedule my consult appointment and was told the fee was 350.00 for a full yard design which included plans. I told them I had a very large yard and wanted to make sure the fee covered that. I was told yes. Designer Ingrid came out to my home and we walked the entire property and I told her what I had in mind. I left her to measurements and upon leaving she stated she would have something in 2 weeks. I followed up in the two weeks and she said she was behind. I asked if she could get me a small section of where we were reconstructing the lawn. She quickly sent a diagram but it was not the thoughts we had spoke about. So the small design did not match up. She had me go to the greenhouse and we spent a little time trying to revamp. Which I was still not quite excited feeling like I was throwing something in the spot. I called back at the endcof the season to get the remainder of the full yard design for her to tell me she was sorry but I had used the design time and I would not get the full yard design. I reminded her I was told for the fee I would get the full yard design. She reluctantly stated she would proceed to basically keep negative feedback away but it would take more time. I gave her through the winter to come up with a design and I just picked up my plans today to basically find large sections of the yard blank and flowers which i asked her to avoid she had planted throughout the yard and forsythia bushes and hydrangeas repetitive planting around the border of the yard instead if the woodland garden mixed with ferns and woodland plants as I had asked. I had asked her to refrain from roses and she lined the entire fence up the 400 foot driveway with roses. I asked her to design the garden in front of my garage and she has just one hibiscus bush and she placed it where I told her there was a tree stump beneath ground and it was undiggable. The other part of her plan was to scatter daffodils which will not be year round interest. These plans were thrown together without any design. I would no longer recommend Burnetts as a designer.Additional: there was no 40 minute trip both ways. Per Ingrid she leaving my home going to the company picnic in the same town I live in. She had brought her bathing suit. When I called and spoke to your representatives I specifically stated I wanted a full yard design and confirmed that the price quoted was for a full design. I was concerned they did not understand it was approximately a two acre yard and I confirmed that with them. Based on your reply of cost I was told what your fee was I accepted based in that. When Ingrid arrived and physically saw the yard she accepted the check and did not stop the process to say wait this fee will be changing. She continued on measuring the entire yard. Now that I'm expecting my full design based in your company's quote you are stating I am asking for more than what the fee entailed. If I had contacted your company and they said 250 consult then the design price goes at such and such a rate per hour then I would have worked within that guideline. However I was told full design and plans was 250. I now have plans that are VERY incomplete. Such as an area we spoke of gardens. Ingrid wrote cutting garden no plants and no graph of plants. There are large chunks of the entire yard blank. I wanted my dry creek planned she scattered Coreopsis, Sedum and lobelia. The plans are not professional plans.

Great place but cashier overcharged me,ticket on Honeysuckle Bush said 39.99 but they charged me 49.99. So not happy about that but hopefully my son can go all the way back there to get the 10.00 he's owed.

Had to follow up on multiple occasions to receive refund. Each call I was promised refund by close of business. If I was told refunds take 5 or more days - that would have been fine. Understand business is challenging these days.

Omg this place is so cool! We were originally on our way to the beach but we saw this place on the way and turned around to go in. They have a self serve slushie machine and bathrooms! They have a LOT of things to look at and some beautiful hydrangeas out back. Beautiful place and Amanda was helpful and came right up to us and welcomed us and helped us with questions. Will be back next time!

I had an awesome experience at Burnetts. I walked in not knowing anything about how I was going to tackle my side garden. An amazing woman (she wasn't wearing a nametag, otherwise I'd call her out by name) walked me thru all of the options of perennials they had in stock, and even helped me plan out my garden based on what I was looking for. Highly recommend! Pics are before and after.

Burnett's is a wonderful independent garden center. They have a vast selection of plants and the quality is excellent. I have bought probably a dozen shade trees from them, plus different hedging plants, and shrubs. All are doing very well. The Autumn Blaze maples that I bought from them three years ago are growing like gang busters and now are over 20 feet tall! Even after their bark was badly damaged by deer, they still continue to thrive. I think they mostly sell locally-grown plants which makes a big difference since they are already acclimitized to this area. The staff are very knowledagable and friendly as well.

Very friendly staff but this place is criminal in how expensive they are for average products. I love supporting small businesses but I can't when they are this high. Example the red mulch is $75 a yard. I normally pay less than $40 from b&l. For plants I see Jeff at plant lot and end up with better plants for almost half the price. Don't get taken advantage of by these guys.
