This was really delicious ice cream!! I had the hot fudge Sunday with the salted Carmel ice cream. The whipped cream is homemade and the cherry on top was authentic. A must stop in the area!!

Good local ice cream stand. Ice Cream was quality and the price reflected that. Chocolate Peanut Butter was ok.

Salem Valley Farms has some of the best ice cream I've had in a while! I recently went and ordered the Pumpkin Pie Sundae, which was SO GOOD! Pumpkin ice cream topped with caramel sauce, graham cracker crumbs, whipped cream, and cinnamon. I went on a Sunday afternoon and it wasn't too busy. Quick, friendly service. They just have a window to order/pickup, with no indoor seating, but there are picnic tables on the side where you can sit. Overall a great ice cream spot!

Possibly the best ice cream I have ever had and I've lived many places! Saw it driving by and turned around to check it out. Glad I did!

So the girls that were working there didn't seem that helpful. I was bringing some icecream back home and asked for an empty box to put the quarts in. she claimed they had none, when I could see them. She got my order wrong. Than the other girl told me I had to get to the back of the line and order again to fix thier mistake, instead of them adding on and just taking my money. Than she told me just to cut the line. The first girl than claimed they didn't have the item after telling me she could hand scoop the quart of that flavor. I felt the 2 girls were mean girls used of gaslighting people. I just left with what I paid for. for almost $ 40. I thought I paid for 3 quarts. I read such good reviews, I was surprised that the survice was so bad. I really feel like the teens were could have used some adult supervision. One of my kids didn't get anything because I just couldn't deal with the nonsense anymore.

I have lived about 2 minutes from Salem Valley Farms my whole life and the ice cream is always great. The staff is friendly, and efficient, especially considering how small of a place it is and how much traffic they get. The only downside is waiting in line, but it's expected and always worth it. You always get exactly what you asked for, the serving sizes are great, and the atmosphere is cozy and inviting- exactly what you'd expect from a small town like Salem. They have a large selection of ice cream flavors and toppings, cones and cups, and a few other options such as dairy free ice cream and sorbet. There is even a sign you can scan on your phone for allergy information. There are several picnic tables on the lawn and an ATM- it should be noted that they only accept cash. Family friendly- great for children and even dogs! If you're in the area I highly recommend stopping by for a sweet treat.

It's my favorite place to get ice cream! They make their own and have lots of delicious concoctions to choose from, especially seasonal ones like the Apple Pie Sundae. YUM! Nice family-friendly location tucked off from the main road with grassy picnic area to sit and enjoy your ice cream.

The shop has many flavors of ice cream. Cash only. No restroom. Select flavors are gluten-free. Upon request, the ice cream specialists may open a new tub to avoid cross-contamination. Salem Land Trust trails are listed on a side board.

We went around 3:30PM on Labor Day. Bad move. The place was packed. No where to park. There were probably 30 ppl waiting in line. We decided not to wait as it would have been well over an hour. We had visited the Ice Cream shop a few years ago and we happened to be in the area. The ice cream was very good and obviously customers enjoy it or the lines wouldn’t have been so long. Would recommend it to anyone looking for a nice sundae or a cone!

If all you want is great ice cream, this is the right place. Outdoor seating is great. If you want friendly, helpful, thankful and welcoming staff, don't bother. I've stopped going for cones because, on top of the high prices, the serving size shrunk. And just like last year, you aren't thanked for your tips... it's expected. Get your quarts to go. Instead, try Michael's Dairy in New London and you'll get it all.
