All the folks at Kindred Spirits in Shelton are like family. Friendly and knowledgeable staff, great selection and prices. Whether you are looking for a great wine, craft beer or fine spirits, they always have someone there to help make an educated selection. I couldn't recommend them more!

I had a great experience here. Counter staff is always pleasant and complimentary. I see a few people on here saying that they had bad experiences and I’ve been here 6-10 times at the time of writing this review with nothing but compliments. I took a few minutes to try some tequilas and the man I spoke to named Ed was very informative, seemed enthusiastic about his stock, and gave great advice. He was a pleasure and I will absolutely be coming back whenever my bar needs a restock!

Always check the enjoy by date if you buy beer here.
On multiple occasions now, I've purchased beer that's over 4 months past the enjoy by date that taste like wet cardboard and pour like a beer that's been shaken up

If I can give no stars I would. I hate this place, it’s always a hit or miss with the customer service. They pick and choose who they want to be nice to. I recently moved to Shelton and this is the closest liquor store to me but I rather drive further out to another one because of the customer service.

Excellent package store, (located in Big Y plaza). with a wide range of wine, beer, and spirits. If you are a bourbon aficionado, check our their limited selection of specialty bourbon that you will not find in other stores. They also have an extensive selection of wines, and the staff can make very helpful recommendations. There is a big selection of beers with many local brews.
Bottom line, this is a nice, friendly place to shop, located conveniently in Big Y plaza.

Looks like they have an awesome selection, unfortunately I guess I was taking too long to choose and was pressured by store employe to choose faster, it made me very anxious and I left. It wasn't even close to closing so I'm not sure what their rush was.

Nice clean store but the staff never smiles and is not friendly. Too many other choices in the area. I'll bring my business there.
