Listen, I know it’s crazy that I still need a live teller but I often need mixed bills other than what the ATM offers so when I look up a branch that was “updated four weeks ago” according to the Google listing and the drive through is open til 6:30 pm on a Friday and I go out of my way to get there and all drive through lanes are closed- I’m pissed! Especially when I recently learned that the Ryders Landing branch is now closed on Saturdays. M\\u0026T Bank- you’re not making things easy for your customers. Do better.

It has been almost 5 months and they won’t give me the money from a closed account. I have called numerous times to the branch and the headquarters and no one will help me. Full of excuses that the phone number is incorrect or my address is incorrect when my account was updated with my accurate information and I have provided it multiple times.

I had a horrible experience trying to close an account for a deceased relative. They made me come back several times with different documents. They made me feel like I was doing something wrong. It took over a month to close it. When I called to see what was the issue was after they had all the documents after 2 1/2 weeks I was told they had called me and left a message. I did receive any calls or message's from the Bank. They were very unprofessional.They need sensitivity training as well as training on what the process is when closing a deceased family’s member account.

Went to go set up a checking account at 6pm after I get out of work. Get turned down right away given a couple of excuses. Knowing it takes 10 to 15 to create a checking account. Not very satisfied. Will be finding another bank.

My Personal experience says, it's not a good bank for small Business . They took money from my account to fix their own mistake without informing the client.Katiyan one from customer service did this and didn't allow my people to talk to her manager . Got to Close and move out

I was informed by the teller I was working with when I made a deposit for my business that People's Bank has a business spotlight table, would I like to be featured here at the Stop and Shop location on Bridgeport Ave., in Shelton. I agreed and I watched the teller write in my business spotlight date into a hand written calendar. At the same time, I wrote it in my handwritten calendar. I went to the branch on Sunday, February 1, 2015, which was my business spotlight date and I was told it wasn't my date. That it is in April. I actually brought my calendar in to show that Feb. 1st was my date and I asked to see there written calendar. As I saw white out underneath the piano lesson business that replaced my business, I informed them that this is not the way to do business. I spent $100 to get my table information ready, as well as missing a function Sunday morning that I did not attend because I expected to be setting up my People's Bank Spotlight business. I am in the process of contacting upper management of this bank and hopefully they do the right thing. So now I was on hold for the branch and someone just hung up the phone. BAD BAD CUSTOMER SERVICE!

This particular branch is the worst. Totally unorganized and incompetent employees. Multiple bad experiences. I went in to apply for a loan. I never got any response to the application. It is probably still buried on some clerks desk in a disorderly pile. Pulled my account from this bank (opened fortunately for me at another location). What a joke. STAY AWAY!
