I have had the misfortune of dealing with this company on two separate occasions, both of which were profoundly unsatisfactory.
The first transaction involved a stunning mid-century estate/probate sale in Shelton, which required navigating significant red tape before we could even submit an offer. Our agent meticulously adhered to their extensive instructions, and we submitted our earnest deposit along with proof of pre-approval. Our offer, submitted on a Friday, was reviewed and accepted by their estate executors the following Monday. We were instructed to wait for their attorney to draft the contract, a directive we followed without hesitation. However, on Tuesday, we were abruptly informed that our offer had been rescinded in favor of another that was $35,000 over the asking price. This caused significant distress, as we had halted our house-hunting efforts under the assumption that the deal was secure and were already in the process of closing on our own home. The agent responsible for this unethical bait-and-switch then inquired if we would be willing to match the higher offer. Our agent rightly questioned the integrity of their process, asking, "How do we know you won't do this again?" The agent claimed she had no choice but to present all options to the other executors. This betrayal after an accepted offer was not only unprofessional but fundamentally wrong.
The second transaction was equally disappointing. We placed an offer of $577,000 on a property listed at $529,900. Despite the house having been neglected for 45 years and in need of substantial work, we recognized its potential and made an aggressive offer, accompanied by a significant earnest deposit and a conditional pre-approval. The agent, however, responded from vacation with spotty service, displaying a combative attitude and labeling our agent as pushy. This unprofessional conduct prompted us to immediately withdraw our offer and seek a property with a motivated seller who doesn't list a house as active "while on vacation."
In both instances, the company's handling of the transactions was abysmal, characterized by unprofessionalism, unethical behavior, and a blatant disregard for fair dealing.

To start, I am really surprised that this company only has 3 stars. I have worked with a LOT of agents in my life and Jodi is amazing. First off, she knows the area incredibly well. And she doesn't try and "sell you". She honestly tries to the right house. When it comes time to negotiate, she is also very good. All the realtors know her. She will help you get a beautiful home for a fair price. Very highly recommend.

My agent was Brandi Lipinski, and her performance as an agent was sub par at best. In my opinion, she needs to up her homeStaging skill. The photos of my house that was taken by her and her partner was just horrible, and in my opinion, that contributed to delay in getting my house sold.

Was told that the sale price would be enough to walk away from the deal clean. Then after signing the document agreeing to the sale price, about 5 days later, was told that the agent, Frank Coyle, forgot to include something in the sale price, so I had to come up with two thousand dollars to sell my house. I feel like it was unethical of them to sell the house for less than I needed to pay off my mortgage, especially without telling me that up front. Which to be fair, I would not have agreed to sell it at that price if I knew I would have to pay out of pocket. He suggested I borrow the money from a family member and laughed at me over the phone when I told him I would have difficulty.

Perhaps I should have asked for Karen after reading review of her efforts. Instead I had Tracy as my agent. Started off well, although any agency can list your home on the MLS. It's what follows that matters. Open house--we had them but Tracy always had an issue that prevented her from attending and instead had another rep from the agency cover. Showings---had those also but not a single one that Tracy brought to the house. Getting an offer--got that too from an agent from another real estate company via Tracy which is standard protocol in the industry. Knowing what was happening from the time the offer was accepted to the time we would have a firm closing date was impossible to learn from Tracy. I was able to learn about the process the buyers were going through and the eventual date only through the office of my attorney's legal assistant. Once the house was sold I never got a "thank you for your business" (and the commission I made off it) from Tracy. Needless to say I used a different agency to purchase the home I live in now and cannot ever see myself recommending this agency to anyone but to be able to post this I need to give them 1 star!!Shawn Kosiorowski
