I really rarely leave reviews but I had to leave a review about this place. The service at Giddings garage is exceptional. My car is important to me and I am very leery of mechanics because I have been scammed in the past. This is not a place where that will ever happen to you if you decide to go here. John and his team were courteous, prompt, accommodated me when they were extremely busy, and they communicated every step of the way. When I called about an issue, they addressed it, fixed it, and gave me my car back. There were no hidden fees or any thing that wasn't clear or explained beforehand. Overall, I really appreciate the amazing service I received and would recommend this place to anyone who was having car issues.

What everyone else says, great service, down home and friendly, and accommodating, as in, sure bring it down now and we'll squeeze you in. A great find in lovely Sherman, and you can hang at the excellent coffee shop around the corner while waiting.

Maybe a decade ago(?) I was driving through Sherman when the oil light went on in my 2010 Audi A4 wagon. It would go on to do this a number of times, of which this was the first: the 2-liter turbocharged engine became notorious for burning oil as a result and/or consequence of carbon buildup. Audi eventually replaced the engine in our car as a result of a class-action lawsuit. Anyway...There we were, and we pulled in, and the people at Giddings couldn't have been more helpful. I'm forever grateful to them for their kindness and excellent service.
