Ive have several cars serviced over the past 20 years and they are very professional. They video tape the inspection service and provide a complete explanation of the service needed to be done and/or completed. The staff is friendly and the waiting area is comfortable and easy to work from( if needed). I feel secure knowing they give an honest evaluation concerning the saftey of my vehicles and projected costs to be aware of in the future. They also wash your vehicle even if its just an oil change. There is also an emission testing station close to the dealership so you can plan service and testing the same day . Very convenient

Got hired for the Parts Department at Mitchell Dodge and was trying to learn 3 computer systems simultaneously. StarParts, Reynolds and Reynolds and then DealerConnect. They are basically “too busy” to adequately train and acclimate a new employee. Let me go after 12 days. Claims I wasn’t a “good fit” yet you interviewed me 3 times ?I’d love to talk this over with Steven Mitchell as to why he allows this to even occur?Based upon what little I was allowed to see, and even less that I was allowed to learn…I can not with good conscience recommend this dealership. Very disorganized and seems like they are having issues obtaining parts for repairs because parts are in short supply making people even edgierWhy hire someone if you are not willing to fully invest in training someone that you called in for 3 interviews, drug tested, and them basically allow me to try to teach myself the 3 computer programs and how they workEmployees actively smoking / vaping in work areas, Parts Department, Auto repair shopSeems like the place is totally on edge, people will snap at you for no reason. Highly unprofessional . Not recommended

Be careful of the price bait and switching at Mitchell Volvo in Simsbury. They advertise a certain price on website. Then surprise you by jacking it back up several thousand more if you don't finance. Even more frustrating -- they add in a forced "up sell" Glass Coat Simonizing protection and cleaning service. That latter item ($1500) is presented as optional, but then you are told at paper signing that it's required. I recently went to buy a pre-owned certified Volvo and I was really turned off when that happened. I know these up-selling tactics are inherent in car purchasing and a buyer must always beware - especially during the paper signing process. We ended up still buying car (yes, I know, it's my decision in the end and I could have walked away). But it was a big turn off in how they operate. The finance guy never even came out from behind his "glass office wall" to talk to us and help explain. Oh well, in the end we will be bringing it back every time we see a little stain to make sure they clean it for us!!

Brought my car in for a routine oil change. The tech drained the transmission oil instead. They could not fix issue without having someone from Audi come out. What should have been a 30 min oil change ended up being a full day ordeal. Did me the 'favor' of not charging me for the transmission fluid change but still charged for the oil change. How an oil change place could screw up the one thing they are there for is beyond me. Then again, having bought our last two cars from a Mitchell dealership I should have expected to get screwed
