Terrible place. Use to work here. They fire people for no reason and expect a lot from you. Do not go here or work here you'll be sorry.

Attendant/cashier was kind but staff should not be there only to deal with monetary transactions. If someone as in my case has trouble with other things like the air pump the staff on duty should be trained and schooled in how to use those. Problems are going ti crop up and these staff need to be able to deal with it and not claim they don't know. Believe me, at a former job when I didn't know how to use a certain machine and a customer threatened to file a report with the BBB I had to learn in a hurry how to use that damned machine. Same should apply here but of course it doesn't.

Pride stores have the worst customer service ever!! They took a simple customer service request and turned it into a 23 day ordeal! Back in May...I had what appeared to be a duplicate transaction on my bank account from Pride... I called Pride and the representative was EXTREMELY RUDE and had a bad attitude! She was able to locate the transactions in question and I asked her to send me written verification of these transactions for my records.. a VERY SIMPLE REQUEST! Instead...she sighed (as if I was bothering her) and told me that she "would have to look into it" and get back to me in 1 to 3 business days...then hung up the phone on me! I immediately contacted my bank and made them aware of the situation... The following week I called back and spoke with a different representative and she also told me the same thing! A few days later I received an email from an ACH company that processes payments for Pride stating that my payment had been returned and that they would attempt to deduct the original payment + a 20$ fee from my bank account... I immediately called them and they referred me back to Pride.. stating that they only process payments.. Contacted my bank and they stated that they rejected one of Prides payments cause they had reached out to them for verification and got no response... They stated there was a provisional credit (hold) on my account for that payment amount.... I contacted Pride and after being ping pinged around to several different people...I was FINALLY able to get the WRITTEN VERIFICATION of the debt...22 days later!!! Pride then referred me back to the ACH company! I tried to make a payment arrangement to collect the payment when the hold was removed from my account by the bank or on my next pay day with the ACH company and they were uncooperative and simply stated that they would attempt to withdraw the payment from my account at any time! I contacted my bank and they put a stop payment on my account for all payments from Pride... In closing...all this could have been avoided had the first representative simply pushed a button on her computer and sent me the requested information which he had right there in front of her that day!! I would had what I needed...never contacted my bank...Pride would have been paid and everyone would have been happy! Instead...because of Pride's incompetence and employees with no customer service skills...I am not stuck with hold on my bank account (funds which I have no access to) for up to 30 days...a collections company threatening to take additional funds out of my account...extra time and effort from me to resolve this issue in good faith and an overall HORRIBLE customer service experience with Pride! I have been in the customer service business for 30 + years and there is ABSOLUTELY NEVER ANY EXCUSE FOR ANYONE TO BE RUDE OR ARGUE WITH A CUSTOMER...PERIOD!!! I feel like I am entitled to some type of compensation from Pride For the inconvenience caused to me...however...that request "fell on deaf ears" and of course was denied! Bottom line...fair warning...make sure you DOCUMENT EVERYTHING when dealing with Pride customer service and I would not recommend them to anyone in the future...and that is a shame because they do have some amazing...hard working and dedicated employees at the STORE LEVEL! It's ironic because any problems I had at the store level where always resolved immediately and in a polite and professional manner... Maybe the store level employees should coach management in customer service!

The Simsbury location is the one that I frequent and the workers are always cheerful and polite. Everything is always well stocked and fresh. I'd definitely recommend Pride over Cumberland Farms as there gas is cheaper and customer service is that much better. The lack of one star is because there's no Pride stations in Danbury.

Pride offers fair prices for convenience items, and I believe it provides the best gasoline value in the area. The Costa Rican coffee for $1 is outstanding.I have been to other Pride Stores in Connecticut and Massachusetts. I am writing to thank the employees at this particular store for their uniformly excellent work in these COVID 19 days. I appreciate their efforts to keep the store safe for customers. I am there a few times a week and often see someone wiping the doors, or the gas pumps, or keeping cups, lids, etc., clean and secure. I appreciate people doing this kind of work everywhere, but this crew and its management are excellent.

Stopped here for gas bc I was running on E. It was OK. Pumps where slow compared to other other ok pumps in terms of credit card processing. Fueling was typical speed. There are 8 pumps total. Cash and credit prices are the same. They carry diesel, low, mid, and high grade. Not too busy around 11am on a Fridat. They do have a store but I did not enter. The prices were fair compared to other stations in the area.

Recently updated store house with all new stock and clean facility. Only thing I dislike is the parking and entering/existing situation. Free air for tires which is great. Offer much more stuff than it used to.
