Simsbury Commons is a large plaza located on Route 44 and Bushy Hill Road, offering plenty of parking and a variety of retail shops. It features stores like Walgreens, Stop and Shop, Party City, and Home Goods, making it convenient for shopping, errands, and banking. The area also includes entertainment options such as a movie theater, indoor pickleball courts, and a go-kart track. A new Raising Cane's fast food restaurant is opening in fall 2024, along with plans for a trampoline park in the old Bed Bath & Beyond location. The plaza is situated in a busy area with good traffic, making it a popular spot for locals. While some parts of the plaza appear tired and vacant, it remains a useful and enjoyable place for shopping and recreation. The large parking lots are easy to access, and visitors appreciate the variety of stores and the overall convenience of the area.
Love the movie theatre here. I wish they had a marquee saying what movies are playing inside. But the square is fun day with pickleball courts, indoor racing track, movie theatre and play gym for jumping

Good variety of shops, plenty of parking. I grew up in the next town over, it used to be called the Farmington Valley Mall. It doesn't matter what you call it, still a great place to shop.
