Purchased a LV Speedy 30 online . My order was ready for pickup when they opened in the morning. Was so impressed with the pristine condition of the bag and the sales associate that processed my order was very pleasant. Definitely will be ordering more bags in the future!

Don't listen to Wendy the owner's remarks on how she treats everyone the same and buys clothing from lines such as Chico's, Loft, Michael Kors...etc. I was in last week with these brands with tags on, and they actually took two items of the 3 bins and said the other items were old and pilled?? How is that possible? I had 2 bags of shoes that were probably $200 retail barely worn. They didn't even look at them. This place is a joke and staff is rude. It seems the people who are buying are happy, but the people selling are treated like garbage. Wendy, just remember who is putting the clothes on the racks, and by the sounds of these reviews, you may start driving business away! Never coming back here. Same thing 3 times I have tried to sell. It's better to sell on Poshmark or Uptown Consignment than these rude jokers.

Sellers beware! Background/context: I graduated college in 2018 and have been working in Boston since. I wear corporate / business casual attire on a regular basis. My husband and I recently moved so I had gone through my "corporate" clothes as many don't fit anymore and I wanted to sell my gently used attire. I went in with 2 baskets and had brands like: Loft, Ann Taylor, Banana Republic, Talbots, Madewell and Lululemon. I had a Banana Republic and North Face jacket as well as jeans, dresses, slacks, blouses, activewear etc. You'd honestly think I had walked in there carrying two baskets of dog poo with the look the Assistant Manager gave me. She gave me a grueling up down and proceeded to ask "what are you looking for". I said that I was there to sell my clothes and she responded with "well, just so you know, we only accept gently used clothes that were produced within the last year or two" and I nodded. Then she gave me another glare and said "have you been here before" and I said I had shopped, but never sold. I filled out the necessary paperwork and she continued to make comments like "we really only accept quality brands". I was so uncomfortable and mortified because she just kept insinuating I brought in trash. Her tone was incredibly condescending and when I was walking out (she mentioned it would take two hours to look through the clothes) I saw her pick up a Madewell skirt that had fallen off my pile using her two fingers in a pinching motion and toss it back into the basket like it was steaming dog poo. I went and sat in the parking lot and did my best not to cry. My dad had been working in East Windsor and was heading towards home, so he stopped to say hi to me and could tell I was really upset. I told him what had happened and being the sweet man he is, he said "do you want me to go sell them at Plato's closet for you? That lady sounds like a witch and she's definitely going to lowball you. Let's go in there and get your items back because she's not going to appreciate them". So with my dad, I walked back in to collect my things and the humiliation didn't stop!! I told the woman I no longer wanted to sell my clothes there and as I picked up my basket she said "well, yeah, your items were going to be too young for us anyway." Lady!! You didn't even look at ANYTHING that was in the basket. The Assistant Manager was judgmental, condescending, rude, uppity, and arrogant. I will never go back there to shop or sell.I have been a lifelong shopper and have often donated or sold my used clothes. I'm aware that places are particular on what they'll accept, but the assistant manager didn't even give me a chance. Long story short, my feelings were hurt and I was embarrassed and had a terrible experience there.

Went in here on 3 different occasions with luxury items & every excuse in the book was used not to take my items, they have purses & accessories that are damaged & dirty!!!! The nerve I keep my things in great condition! I was able to sell my items & get what it was worth, they pick & choose who depending on how you look maybe there’s a little discrimination going on here!!! I’m all set with this place.

I have been to this store several times and tried to sell them items. While 1 or 2 times they have taken items, the others I have always been “greeted” by the rather unfriendly assistant manager Fran who is rude and condescending. She turns her nose up at you the minute your walk in the door. While looking at your items she basically does not even open them up to look at them and just passed. I have decided I will no longer buy or sell any items to them whether name brand or not! My time is far more valuable than coming to visit Fran and her people to haphazardly pick through my items!

Absolute waste of time. Staff is very old, rude, act they they know every brand. I wouldn’t recommend anyone to come here for shopping or consigning.

If you feel like being shamed for the items you’re bringing in then I recommend going here. I have co-signed here twice and I am done. Uptown consignment down the street is a million times better. Although you don’t get paid out right away they are kind and won’t give you attitude.

Always wanted to visit this place, problem is the place isn't that close to me. They may need to consider opening up another location in New Haven country. The people were nice on the phone when I called them.

They bought 2 new bags, one gently used Kate spade bag, and one basically new pair of wedges which retail is estimated to be about $230… they gave me $27. I had someone else pickup the other items for me and she unknowingly accepted their terrible offer. The website states it gives 1/2- 1/3 retail price. $27 is a joke. Never coming here to buy or sell anything again

My mom and I went last week and brought clothes and purses to sell. Two out of three staff members we interacted with were not friendly and quite rude. Then after three hours of waiting to see what they would take they barely took any of our things saying they were out of date and out of season which is funny since I had just bought a few of those items in a store last week. Then on top of it they mixed up our sales and combined my moms and mine together and told me of I wanted my money for the item they bought my mom would have to give me the money. Seriously! I don't usually do reviews but after such a bad and unprofessional experience I had to. Definitely not going back and unfortunately wouldn't recommend.

I brought in clothes to sell, owner/employee’s were very rude. Apparently the clothes were not in style and the lady said straight to my face that we were 2-3 years too late to bring in “high end” clothes that they expected. The clothes in the store were not high end either, makeup all of everything and all the shoes were dirty. Worst experience ever.
