Trying to withdraw money from MY account through the drive thru. Bosian/ukanian female employee presented very unprofessional every time I go there. Learn some customer service and people skills before working with the public. This is why I transitioned to webster bank for their high professional and customer service.

lousy customer service rude rep teller would not cash check cause i dont have account and said check was to high check was in my name and banks sign and endourse to me Perfectly legal checkdont bank here If they don’t make money off you they dont care about you beware unless u like to suffer and pay fees and get lousy customer service

Just terrible. if you go to the branch, you feel like you're bothering the staff and they are wishing you away. they can perform minimal function. we were 3 days late trying to get a CD out that matured and they charged a 3% fee on the total amount. not to mention, the new CD they put us into was a 5 year 1% JOKE. Just a terrible bank all around. i doubt m&t will be much better unless they fire all the people employees.

I hold multiple accounts at People’s bank, and have done so for over 20 years.Last week I went to the bank to initiate a wire transfer was directed to meet with the manager. The manager was disrespectful and rude. He acted inconvenienced and suspicious, and didn’t offer me a seat.I was asked how much money I wanted to wire.Then I was asked how much money I have in the bank (rather than looking it up himself).I was asked if I’m a US Citizen (again, I’ve had accounts for over 20 years, and what is the relevance?).I was asked what I do for a living. How is that salient?I was asked if it is for an International transfer. (No, but he kept making assumptions).He asked what the money is being used for. (None of his business). Wanted to know if I’m using it for investments, and asked further personal questions about how it’s being spent.He seemed annoyed that I didn’t have my account number memorized, sighing when he “had” to look it up.Once he learned that the money is being used to purchase a house he asked further prying questions about it.The entire interaction from beginning to end was unprofessional and patronizing .People’s Bank really needs to do better.

Just when I thought they couldn't get worse. I put my check in the night drop. The teller deposited my check into my employers account who uses that same bank. Seriously. Still not fixed. How absent minded can the teller be? My account number was written on the deposit slip. After several calls i was told it would show up as fixed the next day!!!!

Rude, unorganized, and just generally unpleasant to work with.I've spent 3 hours on the phone with customer service and had to go to the branch 3 separate times. After all of that I still am no closer to resolving anything. By far the worst banking experience I've ever had! AVOID PEOPLES BANK AND THIS BRANCH AT ALL COSTS! I WILL DEFINITELY BE CLOSING THIS ACCOUNT. Save yourself the headache and learn from my mistakes, go to a different bank. Also the manager Jennifer seems to think women have no place in business. I say this because of how she belittled my wife when discussing our business account. Jennifer made it a point to tell my wife that she needed to talk to me (the husband) to get better informed on the status of our account. Just to be clear my wife runs the business...
