I am sure that working individuals make out very well here for their lunches or dinners. Their food portions are very generous. And remember, my neighbors, that your business meals are tax write offs. Saving receipts will benefit you well. My family has come to Geisselers for over 60 years.”

“Very clean, tidy store. Oddly organized, for example the larger bag of Milo chocolate mix was at eye level but the two smaller, better priced canisters were way up at the very top. As far as pricing, I found most grocery essentials (canned goods, cereal, dairy, juice) to be better priced ar aldi, walmart, even trader joes. However there are things here that cannot be found elsewhere and its sooo nice to find a taste of home. Arepas, queso colombiano, natilla box mix, chorizo, panela, and sooo many other things you can't find at any different grocer. ALSO the bakery bread is divine.”
“I typically don’t shop for groceries at this establishment, as it’s not my usual choice. However, I must say they offer the absolute best freshly baked bread available. The aroma alone as you step inside is enough to draw you in, and the loaves are perfectly golden-brown, crusty on the outside while remaining soft and warm on the inside. Each bite is a delightful experience, making it worth the visit, even if I don’t often find myself here for other items.”
“I only shop at Aldi for our weekly grocery trips unless there are a few things they don’t offer that I need. This particular Aldi is one of my favorites. It’s clean and well stocked. I ordered my first pick up order off of Instacart which seemed like it would be easier since I had a sleepy infant with me. And it was! I think there was only one thing on my list they weren’t able to find and that’s less than usual when I go myself. There person who brought my food out to my car was very kind and loaded my groceries into my car for me. The only downside to this Aldi is how busy the parking lot is but it’s also conveniently right off the highway.”

“I’ve been to a few Aldis in the area: willmantic, Vernon, south windsor, new Britain, west Hartford, Middletown, Groton, Hamden, Newington, Lisbon, from what I can remembered. I’ve only been here twice I think, it looks larger visually than some other Aldi stores. The products are pretty wide out there as any other Aldi store. Parking is moderately available and they have self checkout like most Aldis do which save you a lot of time”
“I shop here all the time I'm just waiting for their membership system to kick in but it is very clean great food always fresh they have the butcher in the back where they cut up all the fresh meat so everything that goes on the shelf is fresh six quarters of legs and thighs at $5 a pound can't go wrong with that big bag big eats great quality and more than you can imagine Go in and check them out”

“Excellent stop for international foods you will have a hard time finding at your local grocer. The extra time is well worth the finds. Variety of fish and meats from snapper to mutton and oxtail. Mackerel, codfish and meats as a delicacy such as cow parts, pigs tail, fish heads. Bakers will enjoy their selection of dried fruits and all the supplies to meet your needs. A family owned establishment for decades and a pillar of the Albany Avenue business community. The staff is always pleasant and on hand to provide special meat cuts, accept orders and lottery services.”

“Ok, y'all, get in here for this and tell me if I'm wrong (I can take accountability). Just now this happened 11:11 am 7/15/2025. The associate was a short darker woman who didn't have a mask on initially when I walked up, but put one on suddenly, I said good morning upon walking up and she said nothing. Then I asked if there are any machines that took cash and she pointed to the opposite side from which I was standing from. Cool, I rang everything out and paid by card, discovering that I did actually have my card on me. I asked for a brown paper bag which all the cashiers always give upon asking. Besides the amazing finds you can find in Price Chopper like this steak, you meet some of the most sweet and kind people working here. This woman asked me if I paid for the bag and I said I didn't but shoppers usually give a courtesy one. She denied me a bag if I didn't pay 5 cents. I just spent $50 and didn't see any harm. So, I went to this kind Spanish woman who took time away from who she was training to give me a brown paper bag. I asked her initially for the manager on duty. She was so willing to help me regardless of whether I paid for the bag or not. She stepped aside with people on the line mind you, to help me all while training an associate. I didn't get her name but I'll never forget her face. I proceeded to pack my things and on the way out told her thank you so that the woman she was training could hear it. She should know that she's being trained by a human being who kind to others and not angry so early in the morning like her coworker. May God bless you Spanish woman ? and please continue to spread kindness throughout the world. I was actually having a bad morning and your tiny gesture helped so much. Next time, I'll carry a contractor bag for my steak and @entenmanns cheese Danish Twist. Mmmm so good and it's on sale too.”
“Update on Friday morning November 15 about 10:30 am my issue with the stop and shop store card namely linking up the rewards . Well it just happened to be the store manager comes over to the same check out stand where I was loading up my groceries and I asked him if he could help me out with my problem linking up the rewards on my stop and shop go card . I told him everything concerning this matter and he gives me a phone number to call and after I got home I called it and the problem was resolved,it turned out that when I was linking up the rewards on the card I was creating a new account and that's why it wasn't matching my information. What I wasn't doing was signing into my stop and shop account again problem solved thank you stop and shop namely this manager . Again demonstrating his professionalism here.
The mistake/error was mine and I own it
