The store is very clean, organized and appealing. They offer a wide variety of options. There are some really good deals on certain items. However certain brands were priced as high as $300. You can definitely find something that works for you here. The pocketbooks and shoes were really nice. The staff are not super friendly. I didn’t get greeted, asked if I needed anything. And I was there for over 30 minutes. When I tried striking conversation with two staff members, they were both very stand-off-ish. I did end up purchasing one item. I had to ask for a bag. The cashier was just going to hand the item to me. This place is bittersweet but it definitely offers some retail therapy.

Not to be trusted with expensive items.
I brought a few items in, including a genuine leather jacket. It was my first time bringing Items in and I was told to find out what they would be selling the item for, I had to go online. I logged in and found that my genuine leather jacket was being sold for $20. When I called, they said it was not genuine leather. I said it is and that I didn't like that price. They told me to come in and get it. I said, will you take it off the floor cause I can't get there till next week. They said no. We don't have staffing for that. It was gone the next day. Do not trust them with anything of value.
Someone who works there or a customer just got themselves a great jacket, a friend said they never saw it in the floor.

Me and my boyfriend consign here alot disappointed at the payout on a dove beauty box we received feel like there was a pricing error hoping something can be done for the inconvenience we called and they said nothing could be done also the lady in the front always is extremely rude and has a permanent stink face and you feel followed around the store

I’ve been both a buyer and consigner at this store and overall had a very pleasant experience. The store is very lovely, clean and staff are welcoming and helpful. Inventory is amazing.
My experience as a consigner is a bit mixed. I choose consignment for the ease of use, understanding that I’ll always get less than I would on Poshmark, but I avoid the hassle of listing items individually. I think I would caution against bringing any lesser-known “quiet” mid tier luxury brands here. They do advertise as catering to luxury brands and seem to have a system for authentication which is great. However, I consigned a new Lo & Sons genuine leather purse, MSRP $300, and received only $4.00 payout. Thats less than the payout I received for a pair of mall brand jeans.
Youre not given a receipt listing each item or the brands when you consign. I also noticed the brand wasn’t listed in my consigner receipt, which signals to me that the lister may not have been familiar with the brand or the embossed L&S. Based on the payout I received, I deduce that the bag was likely sold for less than than $20, which is an absolute steal.
It’s a bit of a stab to the heart receiving $4 for a designer bag they I could have Poshed for $150+, but lesson learned. I would still recommend this store, but if you’re consigning accessories or leather goods from lesser known high end brands - especially ones that aren’t covered in logos - I would advise putting the extra work in to sell them yourself on Mercari or Poshmark.
I’m praying the like new Oliver Peoples cat eye sunnies I consigned (MSRP $485) don’t suffer the same fate.

Amazing inventory. Great selections. They really take their time to price accordingly with the quality of their inventory, and its VERY GOOD quality for what you pay. Amazing staff, they are honest with what they know & seem very pleased with their employ. Had the chance to meet the owner, and she was SUPER NICE, VERY KNOWLEDGEABLE, KIND, APPRECIATIVE OF HER STAFF, and very relatable & understanding. If you want GREAT quality items, GREAT quality service = COME HERE!!!!!! No need to buy retail. I'll most certainly be back!!!!!

I am very pleased with the customer service and the quality selection of products that are found in these stores. They have vintage products and sometimes brand new with the tag still on them items for sale. You can place items on hold over the phone and also purchase the items over the phone with no hassle. I will continue to do business with Uptown Consignment now and in the future.
