“I went in on a Saturday for a suit to my Thursday interview. Anna was immensely helpful. She immediately found the slacks in my size, but could not locate a blazer if the same size. She tried a size up and acknowledged it was too big. She proceeded to call two other stores and found the blazer I needed and placed it on hold for me. Two days later I received a card from her wishing me luck on my interview. She truly went above and beyond. I will return to shop at Talbots because of her.”

“I recently came into Banana Republic the other night with my girlfriend to look for dress clothes for myself, and we were greeted by an employee named Reagan. She helped us find clothes that we were looking for, and if we couldn't, she suggested alternatives that actually turned out to be better choices! I felt terrible because we were there just after the store had closed, but she assured us that it was no problem at all, and that she wanted us to walk out of the store with what we were looking for. Her energy made the store a welcoming place, along with the other staff, and we'll be happily returning if we need to get anything else from there in the future.The store had what we were looking for, and it was well organized, although prices sometimes seemed a bit high for things that we could easily find elsewhere.”

“Carhartt is a brand primarily made for heavy duty work, like construction, or outdoor wood work. In the recent years it has become quite trendy for anyone looking to keep warm in the winter months. Their beanies are very thick, warm and cozy, and so comfortable, they come in a large variety of colors. They are available from sizes for infants to adults. The Carhartt store in Evergreen Walk is the only one in Connecticut. I've gone here multiple times looking for gifts or for something for my self. The store is pretty small, it primarily carries men's items, they have a very small selection of kids or baby items, and an even smaller selection of items for women. The staff have always been super welcoming and friendly. They will order anything for you if a size or a color aren't available in store. The store also carries work boots, socks and belts. Even though the women's section is very small, their beanies, tee shirts and hoodies can be unisex, depending on the size of course. This is a great store, with wonderful and knowledgeable staff. I encourage you to stop by if you're in the area.”

We had heard that their boot fit differs from standard shoes, so we wanted to make sure we found the perfect pair. The store had a variety of options, combined with great deals, which made it easy for us to find the right boots for our needs. “Move over L.L Bean. This is truly an exceptional customer services. I purchased a winter coat last year, and it had several mechanical issues with the zipper. I brought it back to the closet store of my residence this year to see what the store can offer me. To my surprise, the store staff offered me an even exchange for another similar coat while I was in the store, so it wouldn't leave me coatless during the winter. After making me the offer, the staff worked with me diligently to locate another coat in my size, and color which is not a walk in the park. That's an outstanding way of taking care of your customers, and stand behind your products. I'm glad I didn't make a purchase at L.L. Bean for my current winter coat!”

“My whole family has always liked Old Navy. Personally it's not really my style but the pricing is always low to medium and they have such cute infant outfits. They actually have enough staff around, unlike some of the other ghost town outlets and they are pleasant to deal with.”

“Not bad here. Decent selection. Not as unreasonably priced as I’ve seen at other Plato’s. Nice, helpful staff. Really just depends on your style. I mostly grab shoes and accessories since their inventory stops around a large, lol. Dickies hat $5 (ok). Converse $16 (not horrible). Sonoma boots $8 (nice!). Puma’s $25 (pass)”
