Came for a minute clinic appointment. My appointment was great. Then the pharmacy was a long wait to be told they don't have the medication. I could go to Walgreens and they will send my order there. No order at Walgreens and they called cvs for the pharmacist to say she doesn't have time to do a transfer. CVS is awful!!!!

So it's not a bad CVs - location is in the middle of a hill off a busy street, and you can get in and out at a light on a side road. Not completely ideal, but okay. It's a tall building, which prompts my constant question - what are they keeping up there? Vitamins? Christmas? Secret controlling the world documents? The height is just to compliment the architect's love of unnecessary clocktowers? Truly, I will never know. The inside is bright and clean. It's well stocked in everything you may expect from CVS, including bottle recycling and a foot assessment station for Dr. Scholl's. Frustratingly at night, they seem to understaff to provide no option BUT the self checkout. There is no discount for being your own cashier, and they don't accept cash. When I applied enough coupons to bring my drink down to $.09, I actually had to charge that! I'd rather deal with a human myself.

Awful, they told me that my insurance was not coming up and that there must have been an incorrect letter/number in there. That was not correct. While I was there 26 minutes before closing the pharmacist was also beyond agitated. She ended up overriding and applying a discount code but she was so rude that the entire experience was stressful. Avoid like the plague!

Had a dermatologist call in a script on 12/2/2022 - I was told by the pharmacy that it had to be ordered and would be in around 12/14/2022 - I agreed - called on 12/14, not in yet, we'll call - fast forward - NEVER GOT A CALL - I called 12/27/2022 to check on it and was told that it was put 'back in stock' since it had not been picked up in over a month - would I like her to reorder? not sure what universe she was from but . . .

I recently had an experience at CVS with the pharmacist and a pharmacy technician the was very unprofessional and created a lot of difficulty with obtaining a prescription that with a lot of work and inconvenience not only on my part but also involved my surgeon and my insurance company.

Incredibly rude behavior at the drive-up pharmacy window at the CVS in Southbury. I will never go there again

Got my flu and Covid vaccine. The gentleman nurse (sorry I didn't get your name) was just so fantastic. Quick in and out. Super professional and he obviously does this often. Very thankful to get an appointment online. Worth driving a little bit further. I would definitely come here again.

Picked up a prescription and the pharmacy didn't have it; even though it was transferred and confirmed from my other cvs. The lead pharmacist checked and said there were two persciptions in my name. I noticed my first name was a different variation, but the girl checking me out joked about so I thought it was a simple mistake, even after I gave my birth date and correct spelling. I paid $12 and left, but with someone else's medications! When I called back from my home, I was transferred to a women who asked me to bring it back immediately before they closed for lunch, and I said I was unable to. Then she asked me to bring back the wrong medication whenever I could. When I asked for delivery of my medication, there system was down and I was told to do it online. Luckily I was able to have a family member grab it for me. Just a major inconvenience and a horrible mistake on their part.

Tried prescription delivery service for the first time. However my prescription was not delivered. Pharmacist told us we had to deal with the post office, was rude, raised her voice, and hung up on me. Will immediately switch to Walgreens and never step foot in CVS again.

Just watched them bag check the only other person of color in the store - besides myself. There wasn't any reason for them to check her bag - the kids that stole while she was waiting for her bag to be checked, they were shady af. Blatantly putting stuff in their pockets and laughing. This was my last visit - my family and I don't put up with racist bullshit like that.

My wife has been given medicine that she will be taking for the rest of her life, and the pharmacy has had her jumping through hoops for the past month for these meds. Caremark- and CVS are supposed to be together. But, they are on two totally different planets. We were told her meds were ready for pick up, and when we went to CVS they told us that they knew nothing about her order. Good thing we had an email to prove that we didn't make anything up. But, to CVS that still meant nothing. We still left with no meds. Everytime we got on the phone to confirm something with the pharmacy, more and more we felt as if we were an inconvenience to them. We went to finally pick up our meds on a Saturday evening, and they looked like we were doing something wrong for showing up, and while we were there the phone kept ringing while the workers ignored it. This place looks like it's being ran by a bunch of people who don't want to be at work. I would never ever recommend CVS to anyone. You are a number to them, and only a number. Your health means nothing to them. Go anywhere else l!

An amazing pharmacy staff who truly cares about its patients. They noticeably go above and beyond to be thorough and take care of all their customer's needs. The long pharmacy lines are because of its high volume and thorough service. Customers are happy to patiently wait and are understanding. Southbury is an amazing community!
