Nice place, well organized. I went in here looking for floss. Found the waxed and unwaxed options. Thankfully there was plenty of waxed floss, the unwaxed ones were short in supply. The employees helped me find the right aisle for dental care. When I checked out, the team member was courteous and wished me a nice day. Good experience.

These people straight up do not answer their phone. I have called them again and again and they never ever answer. You cannot talk to them. Instead you have to go to the store and talk to their incredibly overworked and stressed out staff, who are hardly eager to help given their situation. Just a mess and I blame CVS corporate. They are putting this location and its employees in a terrible position.

This is an incredibly busy pharmacy! But Elyse, the pharmacist in charge, went out of her way one evening, so that I wouldn’t have to travel to Naugatuck to get a new prescription that they did not have in stock. I so appreciated her customer service! Thank you Elyse!

Awful! I dont want to minimize the importance of a break or break for lunch to anyone, but shutting down the entire pharmacy and inconveniencing customers who are trying to pick up a prescription is just poor service and shows just how important the employee is over the customer. Here is an idea...how about taking lunch in shifts so you dont shut the entire pharmacy down? Every other business along Main Street in Southbury seems to have that figured out. Clearly this location is undersized as I am often told that my prescription just filled by my doctor will be filled in four days. Four days? Worse is getting the daily or sometimes twice per day text or phone call telling you to pick up your prescription...I am trying but you are closed for lunch! No wonder why CVS is struggling as a company to survive.

Horrible pharmacy. Wife has been on hold for 2 hours after calling for DAYS to get her prescription filled. At least it’s nothing important like MEDICINE. Time to leave. At least Walgreens is 0.3 points higher on reviews. Can’t be worse than this.

This location is a zero. Phones not answered. Scripts remain in process for days. If you complain they tell you that you are rude. My recommendation is:?This location should shutdown and start over.

I’ve been going to CVS pharmacy in Southbury, CT for as long as I can remember. I understand with Covid and prescription shortages that there could be problems and everyone has to stand in line for 30 minutes and be patient. But, I went for a major surgery last Monday 1/8, they were supposed to fill a pain medication for me, they told the hospital they had it in stock. When I went to go retrieve my prescription, the pharmacist told us that it was on back order and we would have it the following day… two days later I got another text message from CVS pharmacy stating that they could not get my prescription and they were going to contact someone else to get me an alternative. This is six days ago. I tried to call them today. I was on hold for 15 minutes and then it suddenly picked up. I thought I was going to be able to speak to a pharmacist and it hung up. This phone experience has happened to me on more than one occasion. When they don’t want to speak to the “annoying customers” they pick up the phone and hang it up. I do not understand what’s going on. They don’t even have the decency to contact you and let you know they will not be filling your pain medication for major surgery or anything else. The staff at CVS pharmacy has not made any effort to contact me or the hospital and try to get me a replacement. And when I tried to call yesterday and today they either won’t pick up the calls or they pick the call up and hang up immediately.I’m not sure if this can be followed up with somebody from the State of Ct. about this, I am going to do some research. Because now they’re playing with peoples lives. They do not seem to care at this location. This is the year 2024. Completely ridiculous, I’m planning on leaving this pharmacy and hopefully I can find one that has better customer service and cares to follow-up when the original medication can’t be filled. Easy…

This used to be very well run. However it is gone really downhill. Even autorefill Rx's are not filled and after 5 days go back to status " Ready for refill". No one picks up the phone. I have to go there in person and request them to fill the Rx and then wait another 2-3 days before receiving Rx.Drive thru window has been shut for over a month with a curtain across it and a handwritten sign that says drive thru not open.

I have been coming here for years but it's been going downhill. I agree with the other reviews. Waiting several days to fill an off the shelf prescription. 30 minute hold times when calling the pharmacy. Rushed and snippy staff. I'll be going elsewhere in the future.

My PCP called a new RX to CVS Southbury 5 days ago. I waited n line for 20 minutes to pick it up, I was told that they were running late, i needed to wait another 30 minutes. I repeated to the very rude clerk, you had the RX for 5 days, he told me they were running behind. He clearly was not going to help me, nor do they notify customers or PCP a delay in RX. Never again for me.

Horrible. They never answer the phones. The line is absurd. Slow. Just brutal these days to get a prescription filled here.

I have been trying to call pharmacy for 4 days!!!! On hold one time for 2 hours, NO ONE ANSWERS THE PHONE!!!! Can someone please explain this horrible service in a pharmacy? I wish I could get an answer to this. I called Seymour and they pick right up but can't transfer my prescription. What is their problem? Do they need more people.......WHAT????‽

With recent negative posts about this CVS I wanted to come and give a positive review. I had to stop in tonight. Line had about 8 people. It's rush hour so to be expected. I have found this staff to be lovely and accommodating. Honestly, I think they are so used to locals being awful to them and probably showing their exhaustion. CVS across America are understaffed. Not just Southbury. Everyone is so used to "instant" that they don't understand waiting and patience. One of the Lab technicians mentioned they all try their best with what corporate has handed them yet earlier today an older gentleman called them a derogatory name. Offer some grace to this staff. They are servicing a high volume community. Side note. Front store employees are friendly and helpful.
