Very kind and great service. My business partner and I were traveling from Massachusetts to Ohio and had to stop there on an emergency on a Saturday to have our van checked. They took us right away, John was very kind and efficient, checked everything out. I highly recommend them.Service: Auto maintenance

MONEY THEFT BEWARE!!I came in because my car would squeak after I turned it on. I got my car serpentine belt replaced just a couple days before from another place because of the squeak. It turns out the guy who put the belt on put it on slightly wrong and it made a squeaking noise again. After bringing it in to Parsells to get this simple quick fix because I honestly wouldn’t trust myself with doing this. They charge me… $55!!!!! For something that should take 7 min tops!!!!! WHAT!!!!! This was the easiest fix and they charge that much!! WHAT IN THE WORLD! IM A COLLEGE STUDENT GETTING ROBBED THERE TOO FOR GOODNESS SAKE! BUT AT LEAST IT WILL PAY OFF THERE!After double checking google, it says replacing an entire serpentine belt is 15 minutes, so why would adjusting it take longer? They told me it took 45 minutes of labor. I find that very tough to believe.Deeply frustrated.

Amazing place! I was traveling long distance and 100s of miles from anyone I knew with two children. Need to know if what was happening with my car was safe to continue my journey or if I needed a repair. They were accommodating even closing in 1 hour of my call they looked at my car and had me back on the road within 45 minutes of my call and didn’t even charge me. Words can’t describe what that meant to me with two children traveling that I was safe and in good hands. Good people and honest business men are still in this world and work in this shop everyday! Thank you for all you did for me this day!Service: General repairs & maintenance

I had a tire blow out on 84 during my commute and needed an emergency tow. Triple A recommended this shop. I am very leary of going to shops I don't know but I was desperate and needed to get to work. The shop despite being backed up took pity on my situation and fit me in. They replaced my tire and had me out the door in a little over an hour. I am grateful for them and their excellent commitment to customer service. Thank you parsell's for saving me this morning! Have a very blessed and Merry Christmas!Service: Tires

I purchased 4 tires a short time ago. After realizing the tires were vibrating noticably, I asked if they used load balancing equipment. I received an exasperated annoyed reaction from Mr. Parcell saying that is a waste of $5000. He refuses to purchase state of the art, modern tire load balancing equiment. I suspect, therefore, his mechanic uses old ( 5-10 years old) electrical and motor diagnostic equipment also. The balancing machine I saw, when I finally looked, is the same i used when i was 16 working my summer job some 65+ years ago. Having balanced the two replaced tires they test drove my car down a bumpy road after I asked to take it on the smooth Rt 84 highway to feel the tire imbalance. They claimed it was fine. I took it to a load balancing shop to rebalance the tires. The new shop said they couldnt be balanced. I decided to not return to fight Parcells for a third set because what good would it do since they use outdated shop equipment. The new shop said the tires were defective and should have been factory replaced. After I told them of my issues with Parcells, they suspected the tires were stored incorrectly. It is IMHO if you have a modern car (12 years or older) Parcells should be avoided. I consider them "shade tree" mechanics. Consider using another shop that has load balancing equipment and uses OEM parts. Again, this my opinion as a former Ford Corporation trained mechanic in 1971. I am retired now. I would suggest using a modern shop for old and new car alike. Modern mechanics using state of the art equipment and OEM parts (or proven quality aftermarket parts for an older car) is the key to have quality repairs , tires replaced and balanced properly. Btw, I recently found out Parcells put in the completely wrong power steering hose in my truck. (it is for some other truck) It was kinked and made my steering feel stiff - abnormal. Apparently it was completely visible if the vehicle had been given a once over look before buttoning up by the mechanic. The new shop discovered it during a visual check of the truck before it came off the lift. Shop wisely and make sure your mechanic and shop is state of the art.

If it doesn't need to get done... It doesn't get done!!! As honest as they come. Always leave with a good feeling that the work was done right at a very fair price.

Went in recently for routine oil change & tire rotation - shortly thereafter car wouldn’t start- roadside service jumped us & went to Parsell’s -battery just replaced in Feb. They thought we needed alternator & got us in just 2 days later for repair. Jim (owner) told us after a “deeper dive” into our particular car brand indicated we didn’t need the alternator. And after spending about an hour on our initial visit & about 1/2 hour when we thought we were getting repair, we were sent home with no repair needed & NO CHARGE for all the time they spent diagnosing!! We did not believe this level of service was even a possibility in this day & age! Parsell’s has been in business since 1945 so I’m thinking maybe Grandfather to Son to Grandson. We hope they stay in business for years to come - incredible work ethic & customer service! 5 stars!Services: Auto battery maintenance
