Was there four days ago so. today Sunday I go in expecting the tremendous amount of boxes that had been there before would now be unboxed and put on shelves. I was looking for some Christmas items. Today when I went in many shelves were empty. There were big stacks of boxes in almost every aisle.
When I was there earlier in the week employees were chatting and putting some things on the shelves, but with absolutely no sense of urgency. I was so disappointed when I went in today . From now on, I’m going to frequent the Plainville Dollar Tree. Also, I think a lot of this has to do with the employees being asked to run registers as well as help customers and unpack boxes. It’s too much for the one or two employees they normally have on staff.

Always a mess and often not enough help. Today, 10/12, aisles were closed down, which is very inconvenient. As a former retail manager I know inventory and floor moves should be done on off hours

The prior visits I’ve been at this dollar tree wasn’t bad years ago, but yesterday was off. A young man at the register was I thought nice at first but kept on sniffing through his nose the whole time and at the end of the transaction throws the change on the counter in front of other customers. He was a bit rude and showed no empathy of oh I’m so sorry, it’s like he could have cared less. Next time I’ll shop Downtown Southington because they are nicer. Sorry to say this but I do believe the Queen Street has gone a little bit downhill.

Very rude cashier with an attitude today. Don't even deserve a one star. Treat your customers nicer and with some respect. Without customers there is no paycheck.

Very bad experience, I go shopping every day and the cashier Sarah is always aggressive, she speaks very badly, you ask her something and she always has an attitude, she always answers badly, she is very bad at serving customers, very bad experience, they should change staff starting with her.

if i could review this store a 0 instead of a 1 i would the store manager there is rude store is dirty employees are rude. Wonder what happened to that manager i think her name was tamika nicest employee there took care of that whole store. Best service from her 😉

Dont sleep on dollar tree!! For 1.25 you can get just about anything. Sometimes you get what you pay for but rather lose 1.25 than to lose 6.00 somewhere else. My only complaint; why is it dollar trees mission to only have one cashier working at the busiest times of the day?

Christmas bags were out. Hopefully to be replenished today. Very crowded and never enough people to ring you out. But...I do love all the great things you can get there.

Didn’t know dollar tree closed 15 minutes before it’s posted time. I walk in the store at 9:40 pm and I’m greeted by a “we close in five minutes” where I proceed to try to walk in again and she continues to repeat “we close in 5 minutes” which in fact the stores is supposed to be open until 10pm but I decided to leave since I guess as a customer I wasn’t welcomed. I get it we all want to go home on time and have everything set to leave at a certain time but there were still 20minutes left for the store to close and I was only going to go in there to get a gift bag and run out. Needless to say Dollar tree on queen st you should post your closing time as 9:45pm instead. Btw don’t have people that dont have the slightest desire to work with customers as cashiers! Thanks
