Went here to get new tires mounted and an alignment. They did the alignment well but when finishing the install they did a poor job with the hub cabs. One flew off within minutes of leaving and the other came off with gentle pressure when I was checking the rest. Thankfully I found the missing hubcap down the road. The springs were put on incorrectly resulting in a lack of tension to hold the hub caps in place. Reinstalled the springs and put everything snugly together. Glad it turned out okay; hope they are more careful in the future.

Went in for an oil change. They left the cap off the engine. The car died in the highway with my kids in it. The engine burned.

Chipped the paint on my wheels and will not take responsibility. One chip even dug into the steel, it's so bad. Looks like they hacked the old weights off with a screwdriver and hammer and zero care whatsoever. They say I had to report it before leaving the store. Of course, I didn't notice until I got home and of course they weren't going to tell me before I left, like an honest person would. Unbelievable. Do not let them touch your car, they do not care and will not take responsibility when they damage it.
Oh yeah, and they lied about my front tires being bald when they're only a few months old.

Overcharged for services provided. No up front pricing. Confrontational after I had already left the store and was in my car preparing to leave. Manager came out and basically said it's my fault for not knowing their prices despite none listed or provided. Said I had no right to complain because of inflation. They charged 93$ for 5qts of oil that can be purchased anywhere for under 25$. Do not recommend. Other, cheaper options available within 1 mile.

Nick and his team are clear with explaining 'the why' when recommending services. He is easy to communicate with and keeps the client informed on the progress of the job. The waiting area is also made inviting and comfortable!

Super friendly and helpful. I had an issue with my windshield wipers where they were just not moving, weren’t stuck and heard the motor working. I had no idea what to do, so I called and the store manager was so helpful and told me I could come in now and he would take a look. He was able to help me out within around a half an hour or so. So very helpful!!

I have been going to Firestone here in Southington since I have lived here...15 years! I have to give a shout out not only to Nicholas Frosolone for always being so accommodating, tremendously helpful and just kind. I never feel like I am being taken for granted, the whole staff is just wonderful! I highly recommend them!

sad to say that this is a less than stellar review---- over priced under delivered - had $3000 worth of work done brakes wheel bearings u joints and per a phone call from them- calipers.... they falsely claimed that they couldnt get the calipers off due to frozen bolts - asked if there were options- was told no. so i had no choice - asked for the parts as the truck is under an extended dealer warranty - they did provide them - it took a few days before i was able to look at the parts. nothing was cut off the bolts turned so easily, I called and spoke to Nick who told me that it wasnt the bolts but the sliders,,,, they make replacement bolt kits for very lil money...I was never given the option to just change bolts... hmmm the price quoted originally was $2000 but the added calipers was not $3000. when I spoke to Nick he offered to out my old parts back on my truck take his new parts off and return them. Really??? I informed himt hat was not an option. seemed excessive. he then tells me that the guy who told me the info would be fired if I wanted compensation... so am I to understand that it my fault he loses his job? not any kind of service here other than saving his own hide..... we agreed that I would stop in and discuss Nick asked whats my bottom line here....? OMG never have been treated this way. when I went in on the day I told him I would he had gone home....
Filed a complaint with firestone Corp...well see.......

Brought my car into Firestone on a Wednesday because my car had a right rear tire that blew out. When I had my car towed to the location the clerk there with a beard recommended that I purchase a set of tires that fit my budget. Later that night driving to work my car was shaking and rattling like crazy when I went above 50mph on highway. The next day I brought the car back in. After Nick and crew looked over my car Nick (manager) came back in to tell me my driver side tire was calling for a 1oz weight which he said "is the highest he have ever seen". After he returned again he then informed me that none of the tires were balanced and that my car now is good to go. That night driving to work again I was still experiencing the same issue. Now mind you I have never had any issue with my car for 11yrs and the front end never shook or rattled and my issue was having a rear tire blow out nothing with front what so ever. So I returned again and Nick (manager) was there and before I could I speak entering the store his immediate response to me was "I don't know what you want me to do, take it to the dealership and I'll pay the difference. I said what do you mean I said you guys did this my car never did this before coming here. He then responded with " you got the cheapest tires what do you want from me". I said wow this is how you treat customers, you mess their car up and then up sell them for better tires. I have never been treated like this ever in my life and I don't make reviews either. But this time I had too... No I'm being screwed around by the corporate office. But to be clear when I was in there the first time before this happened I witnessed another guy cussing Nick(manager) for poor customer service for another repair he had received. So this must be the way he conducts business.

I have been going to the Southington location for the past few years for regular maintenance on my car! This is the only Firestone I like going to because the staff are very respectful and time efficient. Nick the general manager always takes care of me anytime I come in! I highly recommend this location!
