“My son has recently started collecting cards and a few months ago we stopped in to M&Js card store to look around. The owner was very nice, knowledgeable and very helpful. Talked to my son gave him some advice even gave him a couple cards to add to his collections. My son loves it there. So many different things to check out from cards to comics, POPS, wrestling figures. Great place to visit.”

“Some of my all time favorite things can be found in this store, from a great selection of watercolor and alcohol pens, paints, and pencils to high quality paper, canvases, and more. Even the stock of impulse buy items from keychain rings, little toys and curiosity things are cool- and they've got these great candy choices. But my wife had pointed out out after each visit over the past year or two that we're for all intents and purposes completely ignored and even when trying to interact with someone when cashing out it does feel as if dealing with paying customers is way down on the list of things to be enthusiastic about.

We all have our good days and bad, but this feels like a long term trend.
I hope during our next visit that maybe that'll begin to improve.

All things considered, I love the store. I only wish that the people who work there felt half as good about being there.”

“My daughter watched a YouTube video and informed me that we needed to go to Hobby Lobby for “squishes, NeeDohs, and dumplings.” Since apparently 6-year-olds are now planning our outings, off we went.

We never found the dumplings (or I completely missed them), but she did find Mini Brands and an impressive amount of Hello Kitty stuff, which is her latest obsession. That alone made the trip worth it.

This was her first time at Hobby Lobby and it was actually pretty cool to have a store nearby that she recognizes from the videos she watches. The store was clean, organized, and easy to shop. Parking was simple and there was plenty of it.

The staff were friendly, greeted us when we came in, and were helpful when we were looking for a few specific things.

We may not have accomplished our original mission, but we still left with a happy kid and a few treasures, so I’m calling that a win.”

“Incredibly awesome place! Their selection is fantastic, the people that run the place are all very nice, and it feels like a very welcoming environment for all people. It's everything you want in a local game store and more.”

“The last bastion of in person craft shopping... I used to go to Jo-ann all the time, but when they closed, I started coming to this Michaels. The prices on most items are unexpectedly reasonable, but the seasonal items, such as Halloween decorations, are ungodly expensive. This doesn't bother me because I'm not there for holiday shopping, but it does seem a little insane to me. Other than that, it seems like their fabric section is being expanded very slowly. I would really like to see this continue and especially would like to see some high quality faux fur added to the fabric sections. This type of item is getting incredibly hard to find in brick and mortar stores. They do carry upholstery foam, similar to the green stuff from Jo-ann, which is something I often shop for.
I would definitely give this place 5 stars if they update the fabric selection.”

I'm a big collector and stop in from time to time to grab single cards especially autos for my personal collection.
I value the conversation I have with Alix more than the purchase.
I have been to many other card shops in Connecticut. They are severely overpriced and way less personal. Do yourself a favor and go check out this little gem and feel good about collecting!!! 5 stars ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐”

“Stopped by recently and the person running the store was very helpful and brought out a bunch of singles that I could look through. I also accidentally left my toploaders there on and I was able to grab them when I showed up the next morning. Very much appreciate the staff!”

Unfortunately I wasn’t in the market to buy anything this time and couldn’t come to a deal with the owner about buying some of my collection, I appreciate the help they gave me when determining a price range for the items I was selling and am very pleased with the great customer service. “Going to let my member ship expire. Original got a membership to by pokemon cards for myself and 4 year old daughter. But I could by cards cheaper from a local scalper then the price gamestop is selling the cards for. The company is destroying the hobby. I was going to pre order the entire 30th anniversary set. But not after the six hundred dollar price for the 30th anniversary upc. How are families going to afford that? Gamestop please bring prices back down so families can actually enjoy going to the store. Scalpers like gamestop and the ones that clear out other stores are literally destroying this hobby.”
