THEY REALLY DESERVE NO STARS!!!!!!!!!!Terrible AWFUL company. Based on the many bad reviews I see this is how they operate on a daily basis and do not care as long as they are collecting the usurious, undisclosed and unauthorized fees they charge. They lie, pull bait & switch antics, change quoted prices and every single employee from Aaron to Julio to Amber to Jessica are nasty, rude & ignorant, not to mention AWFUL at their jobs. They all back up each other's bad behavior and lies every chance they get. They are also terrible at what they are in business for because many of my stored belongings were damaged and broken, including a vintage coffee table they stored on its side and then piled heavy boxes on top of it, breaking one of the legs. Not surprisingly they ignored every attempt I made for restitution. Their unprofessional approach was for both Aaron and Julio to ignore my emails & hang up on me each time I called. This horrible company-which operates eight-8!-moving companies under 8 different names-should be shut down. Why 8, you ask? How else could they stay in business under one name with all the complaints against them?

Four movers ( Ed, Eric, Anthony and Felix )showed up to help me. During the relocation, no walls or door casings were harmed, and all of my furniture arrived at the new house undamaged. They're someone I'd utilize again in a heartbeat.

Throughout the procedure, the movers were really professional Throughout the procedure, kind, and amusing. We had previously used another well-known local moving business, and Simon & Gagnon Moving & Storage well exceeded our expectations in terms of communication, quickness, and cost. Our two-bedroom flat was relocated. They got us moved in half the time they said they would. We will also recommend them to all friends and family moving forward.

I want to start by sharing the positive. AMAZING movers. Dominique, Josè, Chris, Shaon, Eric and Angel were strong, pleasant and worked the whole time, taking great care with my belongings and my home as they moved furniture and boxes. Now the truth about this company. 1. DO NOT USE THEM UNLESS YOU WANT TO SPEND WAY MORE MONEY THAN YOU HAVE TO AND DEAL WITH DIFFICULT MANAGEMENT. For the move out, the crew showed up 4:45 on a Friday evening, 15 minutes before they closed for the weekend. The following expenses resulted from their unavailability. 2. DO NOT STORE WITH THEM. It was at about 8PM, 3 hours after the movers had started packing up the truck, that I learned that the unload took as much time as the packing up, since my belongings were to be stored in small crates that needed to be carefully loaded to maximize the small space. And if $50/month/crate sounds cheap, know that my home (I lived alone!!!) belongings filled 7 of them, for a whopping $350/month (At a storage place same square footage would have been more like $200/month with a quick and easy move in, right there saving a fortune in hourly charges of $180/hour) 2. THEY INSIST ON ALL MONEY UP FRONT...Like I'm going to stiff them when they have my entire home in their truck! Because I was unwilling to pay up front, hoping to be able to leave my belongings elsewhere after learning of the time-consuming unload (At $180/hour) they kept my stuff in the truck and were not available until Monday (Their fault, NOT mine as I tried to call them but they were closed. Remember, the movers showed up 15 minutes before closing on that previous Friday!) They could have/should have called me on Saturday to discuss why i had not paid and what I wanted to do. Clearly they did not because they were closed and had no intention of unloading the truck before zTuesday anyway! They attempted to charge me 4 days of storage on their truck at $200/night. Are you kidding me? Since THEY were unavailable to discuss this new development in my charge, and various options? 3. THEY CANNOT COUNT OR BE TRUSTED TO KEEP THEIR WORD. I was assured that the $350/month was for the 1st month and then would be a daily charge after that. When I was finally ready to move into my next home, I arranged the date (I must say that the owner did make special arrangements to accommodate my move in date. Kudos to Aaron) and as soon as the movers arrived, it was "pay up first' policy. And they attempted to charge me $385 for the partial month. Not only was this not a per diem charge (I was 4 days short of a month, thus should have been 26/30th of $350, or $303), but they could not even remember their normal rate and I had to argue for the $350/month charge (Remember, it was $50/month/crate and supposedly I had filled 7 of them.). I had to pay this $350+8 hours labor up front before they would open the doors of the truck. I was not comfortable paying in advance as that would necessitate trusting that they would refund the overpayment should it take less time. 4. THEY WILL TAKE EVERY SINGLE PENNY THAT THEY CAN. I paid the 8 hours and it took them 7 but they only refunded me $130, NOT $180+4% credit card charge, since it took them 10 minutes to get to me (They drive OLD slow trucks) That's when I asked for the refund on the overpayment on the storage but of course I was denied. Shocking! 4. Again the movers were amazing but I would HIGHLY recommend using another company that has good reviews. Did I mention that only after I began to see the untrustworthiness of this company, did I bother to look at the reviews (MOSTLY BAD and about 2 stars). Believe what you read from the public. We know and can save you a lot of frustration and even money

Used both Thumbtack and HomeAdvisor for leads. Selected 6. Only 2 responded. Aaron from Flynn's called right away. You could tell they really wanted the business. Aaron called back again the next morning to see whether we had chosen a mover. Also they could do the internal move within the house the next day. It's rare in my experience when you see this sort of follow-up from any business. Flynn was actually an hour early from the initial announced time and one of their staff called me to let me know. Nick & Sean the movers were conscientious, professional and quick. My recommendation speaks for itself and the pricing was reasonable.

Flynn Moving and Storage is the most DECEITFUL, underhanded moving company you will ever come across. They cannot be trusted. My valuables were stored there for 2 years and upon the delivery of my items on their truck many , many possessions are missing and damaged. They refuse to open up a LEGITIMATE insurance claim. They have thieves working for them who will steal your possessions. DO NOT do business with Flynn Moving and Storage. I have heard horror stories from colleagues as well. I have lost years worth of collectibles. I am beside myself with grief. I have been advised by my attorney and state police to take them to court. Please do not make the same mistake I did. Do NOT choose Flynn Moving and Storage for your next move.

Moving? Need to put your items in storage or a new home? Look no further. Flynn's / CT Moving & Storage is your best option. You won't have to worry about a thing. They were amazingly easy to work with and upfront about pricing and confirming our quotes/moving times. We were SO IMPRESSED with Ron, Danny and Don on the morning of the move and sales manager Julio. They showed up early, were professional and worked incredibly fast (meaning they saved us money!). We are so thankf

Had a great experience with them twice, once moving within Connecticut, and again last week moving from CT to NYC. Very reliable, punctual and professional. It gave me peace of mind knowing I had movers I could trust for my most recent move to NY. Thanks!

i wouldn't wish them on my worst enemies. if i could give them a zero rating and sue them for all the damage they caused my property i would. this company needs to be investigated. i had them pack my house and put my stuff temporarily in storage they carelessly threw an invaluable sculpture by my late father on the bottom of a box without padding and then placed large heavy items atop it. did it survive the move? of course not. they threw my suits carelessly on the bottom of a box and threw heavy stuff on top of them. other sculptures of my fathers were haphazardly piled atop each other without padding in flimsy boxes -- did they survive ok? of course not! boxes were not labeled and the inventory list they made read: "box," "box," "box," so later when my movers lost some of these boxes i had no idea what was inside. i could go on and on but i don't have the time. my advice: advoid them like the plague.

I moved out of a four bedroom colonial - during a nor'easter - and my three months turned into seven months while I found and renovated a condo. My furniture was in perfect condition when it arrived. Sean, Nick and Dom were punctual, efficient and patient with a few "let's see how it looks here's". I could not be more pleased with the care and service I received.
