Needed a place to get my hair and makeup done for engagement photos. Posted on Facebook and Abbey commented that she’s be willing to help me out, and boy! Am I glad she did! My engagement photos were outside during 100 degree weather and my hair and makeup looked amazing!!! Not one issue what so ever. I am beyond happy with how I looked for these important pictures. I highly recommend hair by Abbey and makeup by Melissa.

I had a great experience at the Color Bar. They are professional, very personable and friendly. Abbey did an amazing job on my hair with Balayage and toning. Love my hair! Melissa did such a great job with makeup and airbrush for my wedding. I 100% recommend these two ladies and anyone else at color bar.

I love love love Abby. My hair has never been healthier! As a girl who loves her vivids, I am often bleaching my hair very frequently. Abby takes the time and effort to get exactly what I want and in the healthiest way possible! Her vivids are actually vivid!

Abbey reached out to me after I posted on a Facebook forum that I needed a new hairstylist. While there are so many options, I saw some of her work and decided to take a chance on her. She saw me that very same week to fix my hair cut and color! She saw me for a consultation and explained what I needed done. I left with a super refreshed head of hair and a much restored sense of confidence. Thank you, Abbey!

Today I had the pleasure of meeting Abbey Torres. I was able to find this amazing human through a FB post that I made looking for a stylist that could fix the mess of a partial highlight done at a previous salon. Abbey, was attentive, understanding and VERY knowledgeable. And she gives a DAMN good neck massage while washing out the product. Abbey corrected my color and gave me a softer look, all while explaining every single thing throughout the appt. I am blessed to have found her and grateful that she was willing to take on this challenge. I LOVE the transformation.

If you are looking for a great salon look no further! These girls are amazing at what they do. Been coming to see Jess for almost 3 years now. I absolutely love the atmosphere at the color bar. I always love my hair when I leave. I’ve gone from super short to long and they have helped me every step of the way!!! Growing it out ,extensions and more. 5 STARS to Janelle and her team!

I had my wedding hair done at this salon, and my trial experience was absolutely perfect! The stylist created a beautiful, lasting look with curls that stayed in place for over 8 hours. However, I was very confused and disappointed when a different stylist was assigned to do my hair on the wedding day. I don’t understand why the same staff who did the trial couldn’t do my wedding day hair, especially since the trial had gone so well. The new stylist parted my hair differently than in the trial and left too little hair for the front pieces. The curls just didn’t hold up the same way—it fell completely flat when we got back to get ready for the wedding. I had mentioned that my hair tends to fall flat with too much hairspray, but unfortunately, the stylist used way too much, and everything was overly teased to the point where it was impossible to fix (especially by the point that I was able to point it out).
I had been sitting on this review because I wasn’t sure if I was being too dramatic, but looking back at my wedding photos and feeling so disappointed with how my hair looked made me want to share my experience. I would just recommend being consistent with who does trials and the wedding day hair to avoid this kind of inconsistency.
While the staff was nice, the inconsistency and lack of attention to what had worked so well during my trial left me feeling disappointed on my wedding day.

Abby was amazing! Definitely over exceeded my expectations. She was super friendly super easy to talk to and definitely listened and understood everything I wanted. Gave the best advice to what we can work on to achieve my end goal for my hair. This salon is for sure a gem!
