I used to shop here all the time. It was my go to grocery store, but now I can't. It is way to expensive. The produce has also declined in taste and gets spoiled/goes bad way to fast. The customer service though is very fine and the employees are always nice and helpful!

How can a grocery store really be reviewed? Well in my experience, most grocery stores leave me feeling rushed, crowded, searching for items with not much assistance. I will admit the recent remodel has thrown me a massive curveball and I'm left searching for items I no longer know where they are, but.. the staff is wonderful, the store is fully stocked and exceptionally clean. Yes the deli counter is a long wait, but the employees are polite and patient. There is an abundance of self checkout stations that keep the lines moving.

Applauded Stop and Shop in Southington CT for their Covid 19 protocols during the pandemic and always felt comfortable. As a Southington resident, I went during senior hours today and made the unfortunate mistake to ask a masked staff member about a coupon. Never again. Another employee joined the conversation and though had the mask at their neck was not wearing it correctly. Several polite attempts by me for them to please put on their mask on failed...perhaps they failed to hear me so I walked away. Hoping the masked employee instructed the other employee of their mistake when I left. All other employees wore masks and were very sensitive to my personal space and polite. Hoping this was isolated incident but nonetheless should not have happened unless this individual had a mask exemption. Should be instructed to limit contact with customers. Hope SS moves forward with protocol reminders. Learned a lesson today..coupons not important! Guess we learn from our mistakes, nevertheless will continue to shop at SS...

I hate this stop and shop. The bottle return room is filthy and in one visit, both staff people I encountered were rude and awful. Stop and shop senior management should never have caved on the strike to keep these duds.

I had to run out to grab a few things and store was clean and well stocked. My cashier, Katrina was exceptional and gave me hope for the next generation!

So the bottle Room is loaded with roaches they were scurrying across the floor they were in the machines in this is inside the grocery store where all the food is lots of roaches really gross my skin's crawling will never go back

One teller on the week before Christmas? Should have gone to another grocery store! Don't even want to give one star.
