“I've been been visiting Hansen & Hansen since I was a kid, and was always fascinated by the museum-like environment, with archaic weapons and militaria in every nook and cranny. I still enjoy visiting just to poke around. Some of the Google reviewers seem thrown by the idiosyncratic nature of the place, but that's what makes it interesting. On a business note, I have bought four guns from Hansen & Hansen the over the years, and had vintage guns appraised there. In doing business with them, I found that both Jay and Tom are honest merchants (some other appraisers out there are not!). They always have an eclectic stock of guns at fair prices, and an ever-changing assortment of ammunition for some of my odd calibers. It's an old school gun store, and that's what I like about it.”
