“Love this perfect little gift shop. The only local place to buy children’s clothing and baby gifts in the area. It isn’t a thrift store - new and consigned curated gifts. All the profits go to local charities so another reason to pay them a visit.”

“I’m in South Carolina and I decided to buy my mom an edible arrangement in Connecticut at like 3pm! Super late, I know and they still delivered this beautiful piece by the end of the day yesterday. It was an amazing surprise and even made my mom cry. Thank you so much”

“Limited selection of items to ease the nostalgia. Went in wanting brunkage and salt licorice and they had both. The lady behind the counter wasn't talkative and missed the opportunity to upsell me as I would have bought more if she recommended some new items or told me more about what they were trying to do. The cookies were OK but reminded me that I should bake my own despite potash not easily found in grocery stores here.”

“An amazing glassware store. All items here are made of the highest quality and craftsmanship. We love all of their works. Their glassmaking facility is in Vermont, all items come directly from those glassmakers. These items are all high quality pieces. We have purchased several items and are very pleased. Today they were supporting a local non-profit organization by donating 15% of their sales. Great work and community conscience; a great combination.”

“Once you step inside, you will immediately see & feel the store's local charm & appeal to life and living in the Trumbull area. The store has a selection of fine gifts, souvenirs, soaps, and more from authors & artisans that are a little off the beaten path, which you will not find in any chain store, franchise, or outlet. Some of their after holiday sales might make for a good deal. They are conveniently located in the same Madison Ave plaza that also has a very good restaurant & package store.”

“Bought a gift card from them multiple times and received a membership card. Their system is easy and the workers are always patient, attentive and respectful. The place is well organized and easy to navigate. Best place to buy a gift, easy to find someone to consult shopping with.”

“"They took all the trees put 'em in a tree museumAnd they charged the people a dollar an' a half just to see 'em"(Joni Mitchell)The Fairfield Museum is undergoing renovations and we could just see two exhibits. The admission fee was accordingly waived for us.One exhibit was on quilts. The exhibits were drawn from their extensive textile collection. These colorful scenes of early New England life were gorgeous. If you ever wanted to know how quilts are pieced and stitched together or if you're just a quilt lover, you will enjoy this exhibit. The second exhibit was a biggie -it drew a TV crew (Cable Connecticut 12) into the room to film a segment. Guess who made a 2 second guest appearance in their piece?Ever seen those childrens books abiut "Busytown" by Richard Scarry? He was a Fairfield native and quite a few of Fairfield's businesses and landmarks ended up in those books. The exhibit is an immersive experience that allows you to select one of his animal cartoon figures and walk through the colorful streets of Busytown. You can teach your kids how communities work, what jobs people have, learn about transportation and all kinds of interactive exhibits- think opening doors and reading things inside the door. This has got to be a blast for kids or a nostalgic visit for anyone who grew up on Scarry's books.”

“Lots of wonderful merchandise including Vera Bradley bags, wonderful scarves, a huge section of children’s books, toys, and stuffed animals…. And, of course, paper products and gift wrap. And the store is very spacious and airy. Now if they would just change the music to something tolerable/mellow instead of screechy, it would deserve a five star rating.”

“At first I was upset when I was told to wait outside because the shop is busy especially when there was only one person inside. I actually left 3 times but was drawn back to the shop and I’m extremely happy that I did return. The store is so beautiful and the Joey was extremely nice and knowledgeable. I left with a beautiful bracelet.”
