“We had an excellent experience. We were there to build bears (and other animals) for a discussion occasion. There was something everyone liked (from grandparent to parent to teen to preteen). The staff were so great, even though we showed up a little before closing. Would definitely recommend!”

“Wonderful boutique toy shop with unique and thoughtful gifts at any price range. Staff is kind and knowledgeable plus they offer beautiful gift wrapping options for only a few dollars extra. Pretty much guaranteed that you will never have to worry about someone else showing up with the same gift- a constant worry whenever I would buy a gift from Target. I come from about 30 minutes away to shop here and I would drive twice that.”

“Was driving from Virginia to Connecticut to visit my grandson and wanted to bring some gifts. The Toy Post was well reviewed and even better in person. Tremendously well stocked store with easy parking (right out front). Kevin at the counter was polite and full of suggestions. Nathan, the owner, helped out as we wrapped all the gifts - grandson and two more grandkids in New Mexico (the gift wrap - the alphabet - was a fun adventure in its own right). Gave the gifts tonight after rendezvouzing with the family and the gifts were fantastic. The goal was something (toys and books) that grandma and grandpa could play with the two year old as he explored them and the lad told us the gifts were "amazing"! Great selection, great service, locally owned, with the owner on site watching over things. My definition of a perfect retail experience. GO. You will love it.”

“We had a great time here on my daughter's birthday Jan 8, 2019. The staff/lady working was wonderful! She was very patient with my daughter and the other customers in the store and she managed her time wisely. The selection of bears/animals, clothes, and accessories was great. The only reason I don't give them 5 stars is because of the price of the clothes...we spent $70 by the time we left there. Definitely a fun time tho!”

“On 5/18/2023 Cappy's team transformed and made a magnificent impact on my families lives. Joanne and her brother located a gorgeous "piece of furniture" a Brunswick Pool table that fit seamlessly into my mother's under used livingroom. The installers where great and so knowledgeable. The balls hang on a perfectly balanced table with every pocket..Thanks to Joanne and her brother and installers our family enjoys hours of time together around this treasure!We can't say enough on how this table has enhanced our lives and family . Cappy's rocked this challenge we where having looking for tables and scrambling around on social sites. Joanne called after a few weeks said my brother has this table! Bam! “We use to love melissa and doug toy's but it seems alot of the toys are painted with toxic paints not to mention the toys can break so easy !! Honestly i find the Wooden Toy's at (MASTER MIND TOY) store are much better and amazing customer service !! Melissa and Doug did great making toys when they had children but that was 30 somthing years ago ?Little Reminder for parents Melissa and Doug SOLD their toy company so you are no longer supprting their brand why not switch to a better toy company ?”
