Incredibly rude worker came out to harass me for using garbage can. Put in a weeks worth of Dunkin cups, McDonald’s bags, standard stuff one would expect in car trash. I don’t know why this person felt it necessary to leave her (older woman with blonde ponytail) booth to get in my face. I will never use this location again. She should be in a stockroom not in a public facing position.

To Nicole Skinner that was when we just switched to 10. Google had not yet processed our request to change the hours because we put the request in that morning because that was the first day we started closing at 10. Those things take a few days. Im sorry for the inconvenience but don’t act like a child because you didn’t get your way it’s not a good look “Karen”

Seafood Dept. wanted to give a shout out to Linda who worked seafood alone on Father’s Day , don’t know who she is but this woman while 7 of us in line waiting. answered the phone. no lie every minute, line 1. line 2 just went on. grabbing lobsters from the back, lobster from the steamers , lobsters from the tank and items from the case, watching her stressed me out , i really felt bad for. her but as each customer left. whether they were polite or upset with the wait. she said have a nice day. Kudos Linda. and shame on management for not gave at least two people on this special holiday

I am here at least once a week sometimes more. But every time I use this gas station, I have to conduct my transaction through the bullet proof glass and an inconvenient drawer pushed through by the clerk. The impersonal way we have to do business feels like "Inner-City" and in my opinion, doesn't belong in our small, low crime rate town.... In a more positive note, I do appreciate the lower gas prices as I do a lot of shopping at the Big Y. Thanks for listening.

Was in town needed a few things. Produce looked decent as well as the bakery. Those are the only two departments I visited. Cashier was friendly.

I shop here weekly primarily for convenience. They are very clean and courteous and have a great selection of most everything and their veggies are for the most part very fresh. As the help is nice many I have had to take a deep breath and remember all is good as they do not use common sense. Sadly they have this horrid bird call system that actually creates high anxiety and makes me angry as I am leaving as it is very disturbing cries of birds. I wish there was another store near by for that reason alone.

It's crazy there are a million mozzarella sticks and no cheddar sticks(I am saying this as a mom). No good selection of organic items but yet the selection in maple syrup is above and beyond what we need. Its small and has a annoying bird call outside to prevent birds (I would rather have the birds then that). I cannot stand it doesn't have a competitor. The prices are jacked up I can get so much more for my money and better quality and selection at Stop and Shop. I got grapes in the past and they were rotten in the middle. Every time I go to get seedless there are always seeds in either the grapes or clementines. The checks out aisles are so tight it's hard to just push your cart in. I have little ones and their hands could get pinched very easily. If theres a popular item like the organic maple oatmeal they never restock it only have the gross plain flax seed one all the time...."psss Big Y no one likes or eats that one." They have Moms Best cereal which my family love but once again in all the nasty ones like the cheerio version. Get it together please Big Y I don't know why but it feels like one person is making the food choices on their own personal likes and dislikes. Update: Ok Big Y it seems like your upping your game. They have a better selection on the Moms Best and the oatmeal has been full of maple brown suger. Do me a solid and get those cheddar sticks in the store and get some Shady Glenn ice cream like Tolland. Also the produce is not super fresh so time to check more often. The peppers where looking the saddest.

Yeah. I'm definitely done. I've gotten mouldy bread here (twice! on the same day!), had a cashier not hand me one of my bags and had to drive back to get it when I realized it was missing...etc. etc. Big Y in general, not just this location, is really lacking in many departments. They've lost my business.
