What a joke what market doesn't have baskets? Unprofessional cashiers on there phone cursing very careless. I have been a Customer for years but haven't been there in a couple of months its a waste of my money to buy out dated food. The meat is bad and smells .My only best experience was the funny spanish upbeat customer service lady that showed me how the app worked very helpful they need more workers like her ,she gets that star.

Do not bother with curbside pickup. Order was ready, arrived. Waited 30 minutes for them to come out, never did. Tried calling no one picked up. Had to go to customer service for our order. Waited another 15. Then had to go and get the groceries ourselves and load the car. Huge waste of time, highly recommend using any other supermarket for curbside pickup.

Worst supermarket in Stamford. The staff is always unpleasant. The frozen food isle is always jammed, and they leave hand trucks of food out before being put away. I wonder how much stuff thaws some before being put into refreeze - that is dangerous.

I would like to thank Caroline, who works at Customer Service. She’s always so cheerful & willing to help! Instead of pointing me in the direction I need to go, she walks me over to exactly what I need just to make sure I find it. She also saved me alot of $$$ by telling all about the digital app! Thanks again Caroline for always making my shopping experience easier!

Rude! Snippy! Nasty! (Management included!). The backlash and backtalk I received when I'd questioned an item that was priced incorrectly... on THEIR part! Even the gentleman next to me at the self checkout was floored at the responses and attitudes I'd received. Completely disrespectful and unbecoming!Overall very pricey and not competitively priced. This store is a matter of convenience because of its location. It mostly serves the immediate area just north of there. I go to Grade A or Stop & Shop whenever possible

I’m giving my review three stars instead of five because I had a frustrating and unnecessary experience yesterday compared to a mostly pleasant one when I shop here. I accumulate a lot of reward points because I buy a lot. One of my rewards is expiring next week. It’s a WaterBISTRO 32 oz. frozen package of either flounder, swai or whiting fillets. This one item totals seven rewards. It’s a good amount considering it’s one item. I wasn’t aware that they didn’t carry it until I tried to redeem it. This store only carries tilapia for the exact same price. I asked if I could substitute the tilapia. I was advised the only person who could make an exception is the manager, Louis Carlos. He wouldn’t accommodate me no matter what. He used the excuse that not all stores carry the same merchandise. I’d have to get it somewhere else. I was not happy, especially since my shopping cart was very full and always is. Later on I did some research and discovered no ACME store in lower Fairfield County stocks this item that is being offered for reward points. Even more annoying. Today I visited ACME in Riverside. I called this morning and was told they stock a comparable brand. It was a night and day experience. I picked up a 32 oz. package of Blue Sea frozen flounder for the exact same price as the fish nobody stocks, took it up to Customer Service and a lovely woman named Ali helped me. She was respectful, kind and caring, unlike Louis Carlos. Best of all she gave me the substitute. I removed the offer from my list so there would be no concern I could get it elsewhere. The moral of this story is it’s just as easy to be nice as it is to be difficult. Thank you Ali and ACME Riverside.

The bagel bakery lady is always watching me and stands next to me as I get my bagels. She makes me feel uncomfortable. I dont think she likes people of color. She was also rude to me when one time she was adding the bagels and I ask for two. She nastily told me to wait and gave a long explanation about how she isn’t done. If she is a relic of the past who can't deal with diversity then she should stay back there and not come a deal with the public. Her nasty stares aren't needed as if she owns the bakery and wants selective customers.

Well, they say if you have nothing nice to say, better say nothing, but today I will brake the promise! I went in the store to buy a few things, as I usually do (when I do not have the time to go to WF or TJ's). I went to the register and paid with my card (bill was $81 and change), got in my car and as I was exiting the parking lot (nearest point to the Fire Station) I saw a woman who was selling flowers for Valentine's Day (she also had a sign on expressing difficulties she faces making ends meet with 3-children, etc.). I quickly looked into my wallet for what I thought would be a meaningful/modest help on my behalf. I was looking for a $10 bill, but did not have one. I exited and re-entered into the lot again before getting on High-Ridge, went back to the store, parked, came out and walked to the same cashier I checked out from and asked if he could break a $20 bill into two tens. He looked towards a lady in the back and said that this can be done at Customer Service. The young lady responded that they do not have any! She saw my facial expression and asked the young man if I had bought something (it was obvious I had not, because my bags were in my car and all I was holding/showing was a $20 bill. The young man (I salute you for that!) responded that although I had not bought something now, I had purchased several things minutes ago. The young woman (Customer Service Representative, or Store Manager, or perhaps Assistant Store Manager -because another woman showed up from behind the cigarettes' rack supporting the "we don't have any" argument) repeated "we don't have change!". I do not usually engage but I felt truly annoyed because they had the answer quicker than I had asked the question and I have kids around the "Manager's" age and I do not appreciate lack of Customer Service, nor audacity. I told the lady she should be ashamed of herself. She responded that she could not give me change (implying that these are store rules), and I told her that she could suggest to sell me something for 50 cents if she wanted to provide Customer Service! (how much is a paper bag that we get charged for?). I picked up a box of tic-tacs and put it in front of the young man with the $20. He scanned, took the $20 and gave me the change (I could see in his face that if it were up to him he would do it without hesitation). I repeated as I collected the change "You should be ashamed! I am trying to help another human being at the parking lot and you are giving me grief!". I finally stopped and bought a flower for $10. Bottom line is this: Customer Service is important! There is TJ's very close. If you want more than TJ's (as I often do), and have no patience to spare for the very limited Customer Service and the ample Audacity, then I urge you to try "The Market" in Pound Ridge! It is only a few minutes from North Stamford (for me it is almost the same distance from my home), it is superb and given the selection and service they have, it is a no brainer! Cheers!

A good grocery store for all the basics and good produce, but a little small. Decent when I need to make a quick run but I might not be able to get everything on the list. Produce is usually very good quality and that sways me a lot.

I find it all here. No need to wonder between places. They also have some products that I really like and not all carry.

This place is a circus !! Full of freaks!! The staff is completely unprofessional. Especially the snotty eccentric manager to busy worrying about his toupe then the long growing lines of customers. They are always understaffed and the store is just dirty!! Two words : DO BETTER!
