Everything was fine until I got woken up by BEDBUGS biting me at 4AM. I called the front desk but they told me the hotel was sold out and they didn't have any other rooms. The guy at the front desk didn't offer me ANYTHING except a "Sorry ma'am". So I had to resolve the issue by asking for clean sheets, blankets and pillow and made a bed using the leather chair that was by the desk. It's 5AM now and I'm hoping to be able to sleep some, but I'm very uncomfortable on this chair and scared that there are bed bugs on the desk as well. What a horrible experience.

Sigh…. Where to begin…. The lobby has been renovated, but that’s where the fancy ends.Elevators, hallways and rooms are very dated. The pool is cold, the tiles and pool coping are a death trap. No way they are up to code. Unbelievably slippery. Kids slipping and falling left and right. But the hotel is covered legally because they place a wet floor sign. The hot tub filled with cement and tiled over is a nice touch. No idea how this hotel can carry the Hilton name.Rooms: Dated dated datedSafety: Pool deck and coping are absolutely not up to building code. Avoid at all costs.

Nice hotel with very responsive staff. Breakfasts are amazing. Close to downtown but at the moment very quiet. Gym is OK and the pool is warm and nice. Rooms are big but not updated.

This is a lovely hotel. The room hallways look a bit dated and in need of repairs and updating but nothing terrible. The hotel is located very close to the train station, we walked there for a train to the Capitol Theater. There is plenty to do and see nearby and it was nice stay. The staff were very helpful and kind. There is a Starbucks located inside but it had limited hours and we like an early fresh coffee.Walkability: The train makes travel around the area very easy especially if you are using it to go to a concert at the Capitol Theater like we did.

Stayed recently during a business trip and would recommend it for anyone looking for a hotel in Stamford. The staff was exceptional, specifically Erica, Sharon and Briana. Brand ambassador Annabelle even gifted me with Hilton Honor points! Tremendous service and hospitality!

The parking elevator was out of order. Finding this AFTER we parked ( parking card did not work- we had to pay and got reimbursed ) unloaded luggage and walked to elevator. Walked 3 flights to lobby with luggage to get to hotel lobby elevator to room. “Oh. I apologize “ How about telling me in advance to drive to the lobby, drop off luggage then park? TV needed a repair and the repair was prompt after a convoluted call. The parking issue is no small detail. Some people CANNOT manage stairs w luggage.

Elevator to parking lot did not work. We were not told. They are trying to charge us $25! We had to take our baggage up the stairs! Shower not functioning properly, no mat inside shower. No glasses, cups, ice bucket, etc. in room. Hotel front filled with cars upon exit--so much so that we could not drive out! This hotel has descended!Price is way too high for this low level of a hotel!

Reggie B in the engineer department fixed our room safe very promptly. His attitude was also so pleasant. I have to say that the personnel in this hotel are outstanding. The person in charge of the gift shop was extremely pleasant. Customer service is the best.

A surprising amount of issues for such a seemingly nice hotel. At check in, there were issues/ misunderstandings on the details of my stay. The concierge didn't bother to look up anything and said I was mistaken. I pulled up an email confirming the details, and again he didn't even type or look down, just annoyingly mumbled something along the lines of sure we can do that. They didn't give us directions to the room or to the elevators. The room itself didn't have a room number plaque which made it harder to find. The bathroom was not fully cleaned. There was strands of hair in the tub. Smudges on the bathroom wall. Nothing of major concern but all together just adds to the lack of atmosphere.Despite having late check out and a do not disturb sign, we were woken up to banging on the door asking us to check out. Had to go out and explain that it was a miscommunication or something because we have a late check out. The lady seemed confused but left. When we actually went to check out the concierges were too busy chatting amongst themselves to actually check us out. They just said leave the cards. And I wouldn't mind if I didn't receive a text hours later asking me to either extend my stay or discuss later checkout options.Just a lack out customer service, organization, and cleanliness for such an above average price tag.

Erica and Briana were the best. We were greeted with hospitality. They explained all amenities of the hotel. This made my stay beyond enjoyable. Brian was very helpful and pleasant. The staff here went above and beyond. The hotel is centrally located.Nearby activities: There are night life activities and downtown is near by.
