This hotel was amazing, and they were so courteous. I loved my stay, and I’m so sorry I didn’t try the complimentary breakfast. You know I had to go lol but… they are amazing!!!!!!!!!! Always use them! (And I hate hotels.) I felt #fancy #bougieJust never call. Do it in person. They suck on the phone.

Cross posting my Armon hotel review:so I definitely would NOT due business with this hotel or the adjacent HIE to host any large events. I gave my credit card info over the phone to an Armon employee to secure my room weeks prior, only to arrive to the convention (Oct 27-31) and find I had no reservation secured. There was no apology. I was charged for a king bed for 4 people. Told there were no double beds left and shoved to the holiday inn double bed room where they hired hostile security to deny the Armon mistake guests the free breakfast.Further about the HIE)Hiring hostile security for FREE breakfast really boggled my mind. How is that showing any hospitality? Here the HIE hotel had an opportunity to step in as a friendly hotel neighbor for The Armons booking mistakes but instead we were met with a security guard? And same guard even disrupted the vendor area in the of hosting hotel (Armon) and was allowed to be on guard afterwards? In all my years of vending at conventions these two participating hotel host were the absolute worst customer service wise.

Great location with plenty of food and amenities. Hotel for our event was awful. We signed up in July for our room and got shoved to the overflow in the holiday inn. Despite being in the holiday in the over zealous Russian security guy wouldn't let us have breakfast at our own hotel. This guy also caused so many problems. Made rude remarks about attendees and did not respect posted rules in private convention spaces.

1. Key cards not working. By the end of our stay, we had about 8 cards with only one working one. It seemed like we had to get a new one each time we left the building.2. I had to call for toilet paper several times. Never got helped. We ended up going to the cvs and picking some up on our own.3. We were part of a convention next door in the Armon, which was suppose to be the original hotel stay for us but got placed in holiday inn as overflow. The Armon/Holiday inn hired security to stand in front of the complementary breakfast and tell us we could not partake. The same security person continued to harass patrons of this convention including those of us who were here to work it.4. Front desk staff were incredibly apathetic, either making faces, side eyes or just ignoring us.5. The TV kept loosing signal, so a night trying to relax and zone out was met with frustration. It ended up being like maybe 5-7 usable channels.Had we known on checking in that the complementary breakfast was part of a different reservation or that we could possibly pay more to get it, I would've done so. Instead the hotel treated us like garbage. I would never stay here on my own volition with the way I was treated.

Lol this place is literally terrible and very clearly not what we booked. We booked the Armon specifically and every single booking and correspondence email promised us a room in the Armon. The employees straight up gaslit me and told me I consented to go in either hotel, which is a flat out lie. The hotel refused to work with us or even offer a basic discount for the trouble and drop in quality we got when we were placed in the Holiday Inn.The bed sags and was like sleeping in a crater, they booted us out of the continental breakfast because my reservation says the Armon, the air conditioning barely works and the staff are very unsympathetic. Best thing I can say is no bugsEdit: I was willing to give them 4 stars if the hotel was at least apologetic and took responsibility, but that would be expecting too much huh?

By far the most incompetently run hotel I've ever stayed in. Staff are uncaring at best. Stayed here for a convention at the neighboring Armon. They ignored the fact that I booked the extra floor space room with a request for a high floor in the notes and gave me a standard double on the second floor. I had to haggle with housekeeping just to get one extra towel and one extra washcloth, even though they left nowhere near enough in the room. The touchscreen on the thermostat stopped working and was never fixed despite multiple calls to the front desk. The first technician said he would have his crew return in the morning, which didn't happen before I called again. The second technician to come up to my room said he would see if he had a replacement, and just never came back. The air conditioners themselves are terrible and can't keep the room at a reasonable 71 degrees during the day, when it's 60 degrees outside. I can't imagine what it's like in the middle of summer. And for some odd reason, they just didn't have any privacy signs for me, something I've never heard of at any hotel. I haven't stayed at an IHG hotel in nearly 6 years, and this stay reminded me why.

My family and I had an amazing experience at this hotel! We had to switch rooms at 1 am because of construction on Summer Street and the person working the night shift was incredibly kind and helpful. Netty was also amazing! We were originally placed in a suite, which was enormous and would’ve been perfect if not for the construction. The room we moved to was just a regular room, but was still very clean and nice. The person who helped us overnight personally checked to see if the room was quiet, for which we were so grateful! Overall, 10/10 experience!

Just completed a wonderful one night stay here. Nettie at the front desk was so accommodating. Breakfast was good. The garage parking is free if you stay at the hotel. We shall return.

Room was clean and comfortable. Standard room included a fridge and microwave. Shower pressure was great! Can’t comment on the breakfast because I slept through it- they close at 9:30 on weekdays. Great location through, walking distance from many shops, restaurants, and a grocery store. Only criticism of the hotel is that the doors really SLAM shut when you enter or exit your room- maybe not the best place for a light sleeper.

There are no unloading zones. The parking lot was on the opposite end of the block and didn’t have a single working elevator. I walked my family in and then went all the way back to the parking lot to get my car to pull it up closer to unload, but the attendant (the front desk concierge) refused to let me out of the lot. He had me walk all the way back over to get my parking verified (by him), and snidely told me “I should have gotten it verified the first time.” All said and done it took me over 90 mins to get my two bags unloaded and up to the room. I am a travel nurse and have stayed in every type of place imaginable. This place is the worst. I have stayed in motels with rent-by-the-hour options that had better customer service than this dump.

We (family of 3) booked this hotel after a flight from LGA got canceled; we needed a hotel to take off the next morning from White Plains (HPN). This location is still pretty far from ideal, not close to or even in-between the two airports, but still the best we could get on a short notice. Our room was quite spacious, however, it was also one built with disability acommodations (e.g bathroom for guests in wheelchairs) , so this may not be the case for all rooms. The bedding was comfortable and the room was well-cleaned. The shower had nice pressure and warm water. Though we didn't utilize it, the room also had a coffee machine, microwave, and a fairly large fridge. Perhaps the best part of our stay however, was the staff. We arrived 15 minutes late to breakfast so the food was nearly entirely gone. A woman cleaning up the area put back trays of food and even brought some bread back out for us to have a full breakfast. Her kindness made our morning. The staff at the front desk was also nice and helpful. Though it is unlikely I'd stop by this area, I would stay here again.

As much as I trust the brand name, this specific branch of the hotel made me highly unhappy with their services. The staff didn't bother to come and attend our cleaning call for a minimum of 1 hour and adding onto that was my unattended request for toiletries. The customer services can definitely get better than what they are at the moment!
