HORRIBLE!!!!!… my daughter used Margaret to do her taxes paid $500.00. Error after ERROR now Margaret tells my daughter she has to call CT Dept of Revenue. Are you for real? This place is a joke!!!… maybe Julia the boss should do something to correct this issue.. UNBELIEVABLE
..UPDATE: Margaret admits she made mistake but H&R Block so far has not said anything about a refund to Erica. We got it on Audio. STAY AWAY FROM THIS PLACE

This was my first time filing with H&R Block and I did not have a pleasant experience. I will be going elsewhere next tax season. I opted for the video appointment, and uploaded my documents prior. Margaret Chen did not appear on the video portal and instead called me for the tax return, this felt unprofessional. Margaret Chen was also hard to understand, impatient, and incorrectly input several items on my forms. She claims the photos I submitted were hard to see, but after downloading them they were extremely clear to me. She incorrectly input my employer's names and their addresses. She should have asked me to re-send my forms or she should have clarified these details while we were communicating, instead of guessing and inputting them incorrectly, again extremely unprofessional. Additionally, this filing was extremely expensive at a whopping $310!! A complete rip-off for the services that were provided. Horrible experience!

I had a great experience with Margaret! I walked in and she was efficient and thorough with completing and explaining my taxes to me. I needed help with understanding my W-4 form and she taught me what to do to ensure it is correct. Thank you!!

Stay Far Away! My taxes where filed by Ms. Deanna Clark. A basic mistake was made resulting in a substantial fine. Ms. Clark has never returned emails or phone calls, neither has the office. Only after attempting to book an appointment was I able to get connected to a manager, Ms. Wendy Ramirez. I was able to schedule an appointment with Luba at the 600 Summer St location. Ms. Luba never arrived at the appointment and Ms. Ramirez was unable to reach her. extremely unprofessional, go somewhere else to file your taxes. I will never use any H&R Block services again.

The employees there are a bunch of crooks they lie about how you have to pay before they put your information in the system and when they process all the information for your taxes they add extra fees at the ending. My son went there to have his taxes processed and they charged him over $300 for 2 W2 forms I went there and they told me that my fee would be under $300 and when they finished all the paperwork they charged me almost $400 for 5 W2 forms. They said that it was a $70 fee for out of state W2 forms. I urge you if you want your taxes done DO NOT GO TO HR BLOCK ON SUMMER ST IN STAMFORD CT

I never have an issue. If anyone is looking for a great tax person Lou Blanco is great. My mom went to him for many years and then I started to when I started working years ago. He's always on point and great customer service skills, always explains in detail about any questions I have. I always recommend him to any of my friends that need someone to do their taxes. (Summer Street location in Stamford.)Also the receptionist is very friendly as well anytime that you need to reschedule your appointment they always try to find you the earliest most convenient time for you to come.
