I had a terrible experience at Macy’s while shopping for gold jewelry for Valentine’s Day. I was excited to find the perfect gift, but my experience was completely ruined by the poor customer service.
Despite standing at the jewelry counter waiting for assistance, I was completely ignored by the female employee with black glasses who instead helped other customers who arrived after me. It was obvious that I was waiting, yet they acted as if I didn’t exist. After several minutes of being disregarded, the employee finally turned to me with a condescending, “How may I help you?”—as if I was an afterthought.
At that point, I had lost any desire to make a purchase. No customer should be treated this way, especially when making a significant purchase. Macy’s needs to train its employees to treat every customer with respect and fairness. I will take my business elsewhere and would not recommend shopping here if you expect decent service.

Had a jewelry order for pickup on the Dec 24th order was supposed to be picked up on that day. Nobody on the jewelry section ended up fulfilling my order and when I get there it’s one hour till closing and still no email when I was guaranteed pick up on the 24th. I get there and the item is in stock and wasn’t allowed to fulfill my order that way either. Said I have to wait for email which is so ridiculous. Now I’m left without getting a gift for the 25th thanks to the lack of care and rudeness from the attendants as well

Sales help ?? Visited the mattresses section to find a replacement queen. Wandered around looking randomly at the many conflicting options. Not a salesperson to be seen ! Told the sales help comes at two pm !? Really ? Walked up Summer Street to Mattress Firm and received immediate attention. I called the Macy's manager the next day. No response for a week. No wonder Macy's is poorly performing & shutting down stores.
