Terrible tux rental experience. I was so specifically measured at my home location, and this shop didn’t even fulfill the order correctly, let alone tailor anything right. For tux rentals, I’d recommend Black Tux or a local shop to your venue. This was awful.

Not surprised to see so many bad reviews. I recently bought a suit at MW. My recent experience buying a suit there proved very unsatisfactory. The staff is fine - I think they have a management/communications problem. I'll be looking elsewhere for my next purchase.

At this point I don't recommend Men's Wearhouse for Tux rentals period! Have never had a smooth experience in the multiple weddings I've been in and my own. Every time myself and the rest of the groomsman have had tuxedos that are no where even close to fitting and / or have been stained wrinkled, missing items, the list goes on! This particular Stamford location had rude staff that acted as if they did not care and it showed based on the outcome of our tuxedos and measurements. One particular staff member was even rude when I asked where the bathroom was. Avoid this location at all costs.

Worst service I have experienced in some time. Pablo, the sales rep, was very friendly and helpful, but from there, it all went downhill. My son needed a suit for his prom, so we went in about 2 weeks beforehand and bought one (matching separates). The size jacket he needed was not in the store, so they ordered it for us. We paid extra for rush shipping (3 business days). They never called to say it was there, and when I called them a week later, they said it was there, so my son and I went back then.We were told that the alterations would be done by Friday (the evening he needed the suit). When I called that morning to make sure the suit would be ready for us, they told me it was listed as being ready in about 2 weeks, leaving us completely screwed for his prom.In a million years, I wouldn't go back to this place.STAY AWAY

Men’s wear house seems to have instituted a new policy (I’ve been shopping there for a decade) of limiting the number of shirts you can try on without informing the customers that the policy exists. Several months ago I tried on shirts, having not been approached by the sales team, and was chastised by a member of the sales team after the fact who proceeded to talk behind my back when I was in the changing room and mocked me when I finally made a purchase. I wasn’t going to leave negative feedback but upon returning today I had the good sense to ask before trying on shirts and was told I could only try on one. The sales team today was perfectly polite but the response by the earlier team was inexcusably unprofessional. I’m frankly shocked, never have I had such unreasonable restrictions placed on the clothes I try on prior to purchase. It seems like they’ve almost given up on their brick and mortar.

I went there on Wednesday afternoon to see the tailor and with 5 employees on the floor not even said hi or how are you. When i asked if the tailor was there the associate (must of been the msnager on duty) gave me an attitude and told me to wait. But i called hid cell phone and he came out and handed my items needed work. While i was heading out customer was asking associate for help in rentals. He told to go over there to left while he was trying to fold a pair pants. When i use to work for the company every would know to do to rentals.

It's unfortunate that I'm forced to leave a bad review because up until I had to return my son's tux, my experience was fairly pleasant thanks to Jackie and a young African American male (I do not recall his name). I rented a tux for my son's junior prom that occurred on Friday, May 4th. Approximately 2 weeks after I called the shop to inquire about the return deadline. I was shocked to learn that I was suppose to return it the next day and a $20 late fee had been applied and capped at $200 (roughly the same amount as the tux rental). Of course that significant information was noted only in the fine print of the receipt and was not emphasized to me during the three separate occasions I visited the shop for fittings and pick up, nor was their a courtesy call about the return after the date had passed. In the excitement of picking out a tux, I acknowledge that I did fail to ask about returns and fees. This was a first time experience for me and I assumed they allowed a couple of weeks to return it. I was told to speak with the manger Richard regarding reducing accrued fees and when I met with him I was disappointed and taken aback in how he handled the situation. He appeared annoyed, was frequently interrupting me while I was trying to explain my story and with a condescending tone accompanied by a scoff stated, "well when did you think you were suppose to return it?!" At that point, my objective was to simply explain the situation to this man. Instead, I was met with a dismissive and rude behavior. It's obvious that this was not the first time he has heard this complaint from a customer, but what is even more obvious is that charging $20/day for late returns that is NOT stressed to customer upon sale is how they make a little extra money. It is quite deceiving. Richard ended the conversation by interrupting me mid sentence, waving his hand off at me and says "have a nice day ma'am." I'm appalled and offended by his behavior. Thankfully I was not charged, however, my encounter with Richard was the worst customer experience in my life thus far. I will not return nor recommend this place. Richard definitely has a superiority complex and was giving micro-aggressions.

The people are so nice, the young man was very patient with my son and he was very friendly and also the suit will be ready two days before the prom, thank you very much.

MEN WEARHOUSE ARE THEIVES!! I AM FILING A POLICE REPORT AND I WILL BE FILING A LAW SUIT AGAINST THEM! I returned a suit we purchased back in December of 2022. We had purchased it the night before and then changed our mind of the color so we ended up returning it the next morning when they opened. We had cash on us at the time and paid cash for the suit THE NIGHT BEFORE. When I went to return it they refused to give me my money back because they claim to not hold cash in the store! The issue with that is no one informed us that when we paid cash for the suit if we had to return it for any reason they wouldn't give us cash back. So I had to put in a check request through customer service for my money back! I was originally told that the check would be overnight to me being that there was a misunderstanding I called back two days later and they lied it takes 14 business days not even days! Business days! Fine we waited 16 days later no check meanwhile they have the suit back and now a month has gone by! Call back again! They tell me it would take 21 business days to arrive! Every time I called they added days on how long it would take then to return me MY MONEY!! it's not a dime we are talking about it's about $500! Now 2 months later I am still being toyed around and my money is yet to arrive! DON'T DO BUSINESS WITH THEM! THEY ARE THEIVES! A MAJOR LAWSUIT IS GOING TO BE FILED ON MY END!

I had a very good experience - I had to get a suit that they didnt have in my size, they called down to Scarsdale and found it for me. Scarsdale was really helpful - they called back to Stamford and confirmed that I could buy it in Scarsdale but get tailored in Stamford to save me the 2nd trip to Scarsdale. Javon was very helpful and so was everyone else each time I stopped in.

These guys are so friendly and helpful. I had rented a tux from the location in Philadelphia and they had forgot to include a bow tie. So i just showed up here, no call, in my tux, and they fitted me with a bowtie and the night was saved. So friendly, so accommodating!
