Critical Insights into Pitney Bowes "irrevocable" Equipment Lease Agreement The lease agreement clearly stipulates that once entered, it is irrevocable: 10 "You may not cancel this Lease for any reason, and all payment obligations under this Lease are unconditional." This clause implies a stringent commitment, disallowing any form of cancellation and mandating unwavering adherence to payment obligations, regardless of circumstances. During our experience, we were presented with a 5 years lease term. Awareness of the early termination penalty is essential; however, it is equally important to note that the contract requires fulfillment until its conclusion. A particularly surprising aspect was the inflexibility regarding the insurance coverage on the unit. Despite not possessing the machine any longer, we found it impossible to discontinue the insurance payments designated for it. This review aims not to dissuade but to inform potential customers of the stringent conditions embedded within Pitney Bowes' leasing agreements.

Joke of a service. They lost my package. Absolutely no respect that people pay out money for these things. They don't want to hear from you either. Just tell you to call the place your ordered from. Ridiculous. Terrible company. Avoid them at all costs.

I have been a packaging vendor for over 10 years for PB. They have switched to another vendor without contacting me & giving me a heads up. We have been stocking their shipping boxes on our warehouse floor for a JIT program. With absolutely NO communication they are sticking us with 42,000 boxes. I have reached out multiple times to multiple people with absolutely NO responses. I have been in this industry 41 years in sales and NEVER EVER have been treated like this. This is the most unprofessional company I have ever dealt with.

This company has lost my package for the second time now. Their customer service number doesnt let you get transferred to a representative. They instead ask you to talk to the retailer you bought the products from. I'm sorry, but last time I checked you're the courier. YOU should have the information needed to tell me where my package is. Not bath and bodywork's. Absolutely abhorrent company. I'll be paying for 1-3 day shipping from now on just avoid this plague of a company losing my items. Disgraceful.

warning call where you placed you're order and see if they use Pitney Bowes as there shipper. I placed an order at the end of November with our Christmas order and was to be delivered on December the 2nd via USPS. Well Pitney Bowes picked it up and not USPS and we still haven't seen it and here it is December 21 and no sign of it yet. When I called Pitney Bowes they told me that they didn't know if my package was on a truck or not. Pitney Bowes said that the driver may have ran out of time and parked the truck somewhere. The lady from Pitney Bowes told me to call the place that I ordered from and reorder and repay for i because more then likely somebody else may be having a better Christmas and laughed about it and hung up on me still laughing. b e aware Of Pitney Bowes Shippin.

Pitney Bowes is one of the worst companies I have ever done business with. I tried a free trial of PitneyShip. I did not like it at all. I cancelled before the free trial ended. But Pitney Bowes charged my business for a month of service anyway. I have made multiple calls to Pitney to get a refund and they say they can only send a paper check. In response to my calls, I get confusing emails. I still have not received my refund of $16.30. Phone customer service is abhorrent. Managing an account online is too. This company is HIGHLY unorganized. My brother, who works for the federal government, also had to deal with Pitney Bowes (at work) for other services and has had the same kinds of experiences. I recommend choosing services from a better company. I have to honestly, bluntly, and plainly say that Pitney Bowes is not a good company. My next step is to my state's attorney general and senator's office for advocacy and legal action. As I give all my reviews a grade, I will do so here. This is Grade F.

Your company is abominable. I am awaiting a package that was shipped the 29th of Nov and there has not been an update in your "tracking" service since that date. It is now nearly the 7th of Dec and there have been NO notifications, no explanations, NOTHING to give me an idea of when my shipment will arrive. Trying to contact your "customer service" is a joke. Do you even HAVE human beings working there? I can only hope I never have to deal with your crummy service again.

When we switched systems, we no longer needed the leased meter. I have spent the past 6+ months trying to cancel our lease and return the meter! It takes forever to get someone on the phone...or to reply via email. When you finally do, you have to argue with them to get the cancellation process going. Then they send you the quote, you approve, the close the case and you never hear from them again! I still have the chunky meter here taking up room and collecting dust!!! Can't get ahold of anyone, don't know where or how to return the meter, and still getting charged!!

Pitney Bowes renegotiated our contract, but instead of actually doing that they opened a new contract at the renegotiated rate and kept our old contract on file. Thus, we received two bills instead of one. When we fought this it took forever to get them on the phone because their customer service number makes it near impossible to actually talk to a customer representative. When we got through by some miracle, the representative said they would solve our problem if we created a brand new contract from scratch. Thus adding years to our existing contract. When we finally got them to see that this was their mistake we got an email saying that there would be a change in terms and conditions to the contract that we had renegotiated. They said this is because we had late fees on the contract that they had made (in error). This and more has led me to believe that this company is a scam. Do yourself a favor. Save yourself hours of being on the phone with people who will say they’ve solved your problem only to create one more!

This is the WORST company I have ever dealt with. Spent over an hour on the phone trying to add postage to my postage machine and they just cannot do it. Referred me to a 3rd party. When you call it sounds you are talking to someone from India in a sweat shop. The absolute WORST CUSTOMER SERVICE!!! Stay away from this company!

WORST CUSTOMER SERVICE IN 30+ YEARS IN BUSINESS. GO ANYWHERE ELSE. NOT HERE.After meter troubles for months I terminated my contract and was owed $260.93 in postage in the meter. The journey to the Pitney Bowes Underworld then went even deeper. I had been told that I was being refunded to my credit card, then they couldn't, then a check was mailed, then the check was sent to the wrong address, that they could and then they could not refund my credit card, that the check was stopped and would be mailed after being processed, and on and on and on and the lies continued. This is abominable business practice is totally unacceptable to a customer who'd been with this company over 20 years. After 14 weeks of trying to obtain my postage refund, it was only after the intervention of the Better Business Bureau (and the Attorney General's Office in Massachusetts who never responded to my knowledge) things finally began moving forward. I finally received the check and the deposit has gone through. I thought I'd never get refunded. The poor business practices of this company, Pitney Bowes, is abominable and I no longer have to be dragged along with it. Thank You Better Business Bureau!Sincerely,Dr. Paul Giordano
