John has been such a great help in getting me everything I need for my 1964 MGB restoration. All the parts are of high quality and all items are shipped with care. Sports & Classics is reliable, trustworthy and I can count on them. Great company!

Over charged for shipping, promised they would make it right, after my email and phone call, but no word now for over a week.Non responsive to emails. They just appear to be lazy, burned out. My order’s shipping label was created, but wasn’t either dropped at their post office or picked up by USPS for 3 days.I would steer clear of this business.

I recently purchased a hard to find part for my Daimler SP 250 restoration from this company. I was very impressed with the initial response and the service in sending this item all the way to Australia ! Thank you Sports and Classics

Nice upholstery work, but expect late deliveries and zero communication. I needed extra material, I sent in a piece for an exact color match and have yet to hear back. In frustration, I've taken my business to a local guy and ordered the stuff from him. Seriously, think hard about doing business with S&C - you'll have better luck with Moss Motors or Scarborough Faire for english car interiors.

Purchased a new-old-stock Lucas Distributor Cap from S&C in August 2020 for an exorbitant price US$289.95 plus US$84.29 Shipping to Australia. Received the Cap in a well packed box which was undamaged and filled with shredded paper. Cap was in original box but upon close inspection I discovered a crack on the inside which was next to a dent on the rim suggesting to me that it had been dropped or hit against something. I contacted John Peters, the Owner of S&C via email within a few hours of receiving the distributor cap to let him know it was cracked. He said he would see if he can locate another one and that he would have to have the cap back but would maybe give me an address in Australia to send it to. After about four months I contacted S&C via email asking what was happening with finding a replacement. NO Response! I tried several more emails and again NO response. After about two months I sent an email to another email address at S&C and got a response from Darcy who calls herself Internet Sales. She ultimately agreed to refund me for the Distributor Cap but said she would have to get me the address to send the damaged one to in Australia. After a few weeks and no further emails or refund I sent an email with postage costs to send the cap back to S&C in Stamford CT. I said that the time to send it anywhere else had passed. So again NO response from S&C. I finally telephoned S&C and spoke to Steve and briefly explained what had happened and he said he would look into organising my refund. So several weeks later, NO responses and NO refund. I sent an email to the attention of John Peters giving them until March 31, 2021 to send me the refund. NO response and NO refund. As you may well imagine I am getting rather angry with S&C. If this is how Americans wish international customers to see business being done then all hope is lost for a global economy. My advice, DO NOT do business with Sports and Classics in Stamford, CT as you will be ripped off and ignored if there are any issues. If you are not in America I strongly suggest you avoid buying anything from S&C via their website. I don't think saying John Peter's is not dealing fairly or honestly is going too far. I have read the other negative post by Marc H. and can only concur with what he says. I read another negative post on another site which express the same sentiments as Marc H. and myself. I encourage other disgruntled customers of Sports and Classics in Stamford CT to document their bad experiences here also. Currently my thinking is why would I buy anything from America if this is how I am going to be treated.

Sports and Classics was able to get me parts that I was not able to find anywhere else for my 1961 Triumph TR3A. I find that they have many original and very good quality parts and never had any fitment or quality issues. Their staff is very friendly and knowledgeable. Highly recommend em!

I have been doing business with sports classics for over 40 years John and his employees are great to work with their are very knowledgeable of any part or service you might need. Prices are great also. Sports Classics has totally taken two of my cars and made them concourse show cars today which I show throughout this country. I highly recommend sports classics.

Worst company I've ever dealt with!!! Steve was horrible! Didn't communicate, was 4 months late, incomplete and worst of all, the pieces were not made right and of poor quality. I purchased a MG TD interior kit. I've had most of it redone locally. It's been very expensive to fix! I will never dial there number again.... for anything!!!!

Had my !964 Triumph repaired here. Total Rip-off. He also sells vintage English car parts. Outrageous prices. The owner, John, thinks he's doing YOU a favor by ripping you off. WARNING: Do not bend over in front of this guy.
