It’s 9:50 and no one is here. No one answered the phone. It’s not a holiday. There’s no reason it should not be open and no other number to call.

The post office clerk. Helen is a very rude. Seems very unhappy to be at work store just open and she was already unpleasant as if you was requesting to much from her would not visit this post office

The staff just doesn't want to be there. Extremely rude and doesn't give a darn about any customer. This is not the first time I've had this experience here but certainly the first time I chose to write about it. Hire folks that understand at least the C of customer service.

Horrible customer service, employees are very lazy, very rude and with an I don't care attitude. The supervisor to this particular site is just as bad!!!. If you need to go to a post office I urge you not to go to this one!!!

Worst USPS branch in the nation no joke😂you’ll waste your time coming here!! unknowledgeable employees, unhelpful, and will make you wait hours.
better off going to UPS or Fedex its worth the price difference lol

The lady that works their is so rude, and 100% not willing to help anybody, how dare you guys let a employee treat customers like that like if we’re asking her for a favor, literally can’t help with anything, and gives you attitude

Understaffed, no kiosk, but the clerk is fabulous and tried so hard to serve everyone quickly and efficiently, with a smile.
If they had a self-service kiosk it would help this place out SO much.
This woman is fantastic. The five stars is for her. She’s a credit to the USPS. Fire DeJoy. Keep her. She’s a gem.

This Post Office is a bizarre social experiment designed to drive the residents of downtown Stamford insane. I needed to pick something up here - I visited every day for a week. Every day there was nobody working, the door was locked, it was as if it was closed two hours after its listed opening time. On one fateful day, it was open at 2 pm. I stood in the room that allegedly was for talking to a clerk but it was, again, empty, and said "Hello?" Eventually a clerk emerged, frustrated that she had to do her job, and she opted to be genuinely unpleasant and utterly unhelpful at me for no discernible reason. I waited a week for someone to crawl out of a hole and be rude. No idea what is going on here but it sure sucks!
